    My view on this is that both Anvil and Ki Song see, hear and do what they want not even considering other perspectives.

    Sure Broken Swords ambition and path would have made it so that the waking world was consumed much faster but what was so wrong about it? A Category Five Gate appeared in America when there wasn't even a single Saint in existence and who knows since how long the Category Six Gate on the Moon is there. The Spell will force destruction regardless of what mere mortals try to do.

    If Broken Sword was alive then these two fools would not have been able to suppress humanity as they have and from what I understand of the Broken Sword the first thing that guy would have done after becoming Supreme and understanding how Domain works was traverse the Hollow Mountains, Godgrave or any other Deathzone to conquer his own Great Citadel instead of going after Anvil or Ki Song and the not suppressed humanity would have more than enough Saints to lay claim to every conquered Citadel.

    I won't deny that the Nightmare Spell wants to pit the Sovereigns against each other but that doesn't apply to only 2 Sovereigns. The Dream Realm is more than cast enough to accommodate two Sovereign it's just that they only want each others land.
