    To people saying Sunny doesn't have much experience than her, remember that Sunni had probably killed more creatures than Morgan would ever do. And it was explicitly stated at d beginning by Nephis that life and death experience is the best teacher. So stop using the excuse that they were trained since childhood.

    Using that logic, I don't even see why sunny is so far behind Nephis In skills. I mean it's Been over 1k chap, how do we measure the mc growth if he is always behindthe others(Nephis, Morgan, etc)

    I don't want an overpowered character, I just want d mc to stop being nerfed obviously and forcefully, it's irritating.
    Still, overall, this is an awesome novel. Nothing is perfect after all

      It makes sense with Morgan as she probably also have had many life and death battles, while also getting support from her clan. Add the fact that she has been for a longer time awakened than Sunny, maybe even a decade or so.
      But it makes no sense that she is physically as strong as Sunny strengthened by 3 shadows and him using the weight control of the feather attribute all the time on himself. She should be physically a lot weaker even if her other abilities were superior.
      But Sunny should definitely be stronger than Nephis

          Yeah, I agree.
          Not against other humans, but against nightmare creatures at least due to how hard it is to increase his rank compared to others.
          He should have at least 2 times Morgans experience by now with all the hunting he does

      So number of nightmare creatures killed is directly proportional to personal strength? More nightmare creatures killed, more stronger?
      How?
      Is it through more fragments?
      Is it through more battle experience?
      Is it through better battle insight?
      Is it through more Memories and Echoes?
      What if the other person has killed a thousand fallen and I've killed a thousand awakened creatures? Does the rule apply here?
      Or is it a combination of everything? If yes, then pls explain so it doesn't sound convoluted.

      I think you underestimate Morgan. She's not any master. She's probably the strongest master outside of Nephis/Sunny.

      And Sunny isn't an all-out fighter. Most of his skillset is geared towards utility.

      Whereas Morgan appears to be a pure fighter.

      Also, she's part of a divine lineage. She probably doesn't have a Divine aspect, but hers is likely Supreme

        Morgan is special but he has been saying for the last few chapters that Sunny doesn't have many advantages despite having more cores. Every fight he would be drained of Essence in about 2 or 3 chapters he isn't physically enhanced which he should be if we take Nightmare Creatures into account especially a tyrant but it was said that they he and Morgan were equal in physical strength which doesn't make much sense. I think that even if he can't overwhelm her thru skill he should be able to overwhelm her thru raw strength which I don't see happening at all.

        He's not a pure fighter, but he's always on the front lines facing thousands of monsters; to me, he is a pure fighter.And boy, for me, Sunny's aspects can be anything: fighter, scout, and anything else, that's how many things shadows can do.

          His aspects is geared towards utility, doesn't mean he's not a fighter, it just means compared to people whose aspects are for fighting it is less advantageous. I mean Shim who is a healer leads one of the firekeepers cohort and is seen in the front lines of battles as well. Doesn't mean she can hold her own all the time when she faces people with pure fighting aspects. Also, ones techniques also play a role in battle as well.

          Plus the reason it seems like sunny is always struggling when fighting is due to his personality and the fact that we get to see how he feels cause it's his pov. Sunny would rather look for underhand ways to end a fight than go one on one with an opponent even if he can beat said opponent without struggle, it's just who he is.

    It seemed that Morgan had decided to start using more of her Aspect Abilities, as well.

    I think it may have been unintentional, something to do with her flaw it seems...

    But her Flaw - what Sunny suspected to be her Flaw - remained.

      From what i remmeber she wear gloves and her ability is enhancing slashing and stuff. Maybe her flaw is something like living weapon she cant help but cause cuts when she touches someone.
