No the enemy currently is a fallen titan it is more powerful than a corrupted of one or two ranks below it.
It is about the same power as a transceded i think.

Power level of nightmare differs from human power level but Saint power level of humans = Corrupted nightmares and in every level there are distinctions in number of cores in nightmares, going from 1 to 7 in order of beast, monster, demon, devil, tyrant, terror, and titan. Author has not yet mentioned clear power structure in nightmares e.g. if awakened terror can defeat ascended monster or demon.

I think i figure it out toward the end of the novel.
He says that basically every human is at beast level, so a saint is a transcendant beast, because they have one core.
But a saint can beat even a fallen titan, which is a rank lower.
So 4/1( transcendant beast, a saint), superior to 3/7( fallen titan).
Nightmare creature have better class, but lower intelligence, so a 4/1, with preparation and better equipement( i have not seen yet memories on nighmare creature but i may have missed it, which make Saint( the shadow) special because she cant earn them but still wield them), can beat a corrupted titan(4/7).
Its a bit confusing but hope it help future reader.

Also to answer my own question, a human divine would be a divine beast (7/1), for an nighmare creature the equivalent would be an unholy, not titan.

Also neph and sunny are anomaly, maybe every divine lineage can have multiple core but we didnt get the info.
And other people dont suspect they have more core because no one knows what others capacities cost and with more control over the essense, the same capacities is stronger and cost less.

Think of it like this. Ranks determine the maximum raw power someone possesses, while Classes determines their quality and how well they can make use of the raw power they possess. The higher the class the better their overall quality is, like their intelligence potency of its power and so on. Plus the higher the class, the more powers they possess

There are two aspects of power measurement: Rank and Class.

Rank depicts the QUALITY of the soul core. From weakest to strongest:

      Dormant/Dormant
      Awakened/Awakened
      Fallen/Ascended
      Corrupted/Transcendent
      Great/Supreme
      Cursed/Sacred
      Unholy/Divine

Sunny is currently Ascended, so he is of the same Rank as Goliath.

Class counts the QUANTITY of Soul Cores. As most humans have only one soul core, this applies mostly to Nightmare Creatures and thus have no different names:

      Beast
      Monster
      Demon
      Devil
      Tyrant
      Terror
      Titan

Sunny is a Devil, so he has 4 soul cores. Goliath is a Titan, so it has 7.

Thanks for putting it here, everytime i have to go to the chap 0.
Althought it's easier toward the end because as power growth, there is less of the lesser terme used, so less confusing.

unholy is a human divine, it means a core of 7th level, titan means it possess 7 cores, Goliath is Fallen Titan so it has 7 cores of Fallen (3rd) level

Okay, so Rank is quality of Soul Core and Class is quantity of Soul Core, but it’s still confusing how the power increases/scales.
Not remembering the names offhand, would a 4/5 be stronger than a 5/4?
I just wonder whether Rank is higher than Class. Idk 🤷‍♂️

rank has a stronger effect on power than class. 5/4 is definitely stronger than 4/5.
but what is stronger 4/1 or 3/5 is an open question

Probably the 3/5 since they do get a qualitative power increase once they turn tyrant and above

Not if 4/1 refers to a human trancedent if have to say you need at least 3/7 to face a saint a 4/5 or above nightmare creature has better chances of winning
But it's just goes to show strength of humanity a trancedent with single soul core can face corrupted tryant we have seen master jet dispach hord of corrupted monsters granted master jet is a anomaly a exception among exception
But any master worth his salt can face 4/1 despite being 3/1 specially of they are prepared

The author seemed to write at the beginning of the book that, for example, 2/7 can fight with 5/1.

If only Saint was there to deal damage he could've killed a titan alone

And there's also the confusion regarding power system. I mean sunny can kill a "corrupted" devil alone, but not a fallen titan? If I'm not wrong a increase in rank is a qualitative change it increases strength exponentially unlike class. A corrupted devil should be stronger than a fallen terror or titan yet a saint can't deal with it. I mean only its size posses a great obstacle other than that it should not be impossible. The power system is messed pressure

Why the hell it is Fallen titan and Sunny can't handle it? I mean, wasn't it supposed to be corrupted one? Sunny had slain corrupted devil already, fallen titan should not cause problem neither for him nor for saints hunting it.

A corrupted devil is not even a near match for a fallen titan… I mean look at sunny and saint alone, both of them are able to hunt corrupted beings just because they have more
Soul cores, the same goes for the Titans, imagine if Sunny becomes a Ascended Titan, would he not be as strong as Saint Tyris? He would be, and very easily…. The main reason why Nightmare creatures are weaker than their human counterparts is because they have no intelligence, but here Sunny would not be able to even harm the Titan with such lack of information and tricks.
