    I think it is pretty stupid that nuclear weapon can't kill transcended abominations... it just causes more harm to humans than benefit.. that should have been the explanation.

    Guy below said that upon explosion nuclear weapon can release 10 million degrees heat idk if that's true but just imaging 10 million degree is insane... like 10 mil??? not like thousand?

      I am still not fully capable of understanding the limits of power system on one hand dormant demonhuman has killed a fallen terror
      On other hand i was under impression that ascended could still be wounded by normal weapons as long they weren't coursing the soul essence through their body and actually I am not even sure how strong as in strength or how fast do they even move in my mind when they become trancedent I will remove human limits from my mind and accept they are moving at speeds beyond comprehension and has strength to shatterer mountains literally

      I wonder if sunny turned into shadow before nuclear missile would he be fine i think he would even after coming back out after impact settles he can probably deal with radiation as long as he courses soul essence through his body

    Whenever they mention the nightmare monsters in the sea i remember Gunlaug's aspect which allowed him to breath and move fast in water and imagine if he didn't die he would've been a great help to humanity, it's such a wasted potential that he died that early in the novel.
