    Sunny couldn't help but admire the silent majesty of them.

    Me too, i mean, huge eff off dreadnoughts/battleships bristling with cannons and railguns? I almost came.
    I really like my big armed and armoured things. Only things thats missing is huge flying fortresses, or red alert 2 kirov zeppelins. But when you have kaijus or supermen that can do a goku, they dont seem that useful, do they?
    It just sucks they cant save Antarctica...or can they?

    I think its not about the power of Nuke. Still 10 million degrees will evaporate almost everything. But i assume its cause by ESSENCE. its the same as Using a Dormant sword versus an Ascended Sword. Same sword but ascended have way more essence

    Unless they make a Soul Essence Powered Guns. It wont be easy for them.
    But I assumed theres already Essence bomb, but just way too expensive to use for now compare to hiring awakened

      I assume they can make essence powered guns but youd have to empower the ammo too.
      Its probably too costly, yes.
      Also, i think it is about power. Nightmare creatures can have all sorts of fantastical defenses. Why not extreme heat resistance? Essence is used to enhance things so youre right that it might also be why theyre so tough.

    The bombs already used fusion bro, when scientist say we haven't mastered fusion they mean we can't control it yet to produce clean energy like to power a city but a single blast is simpler and current bomb already use it

      Thermonuclears like the H-Bomb are not a pure fusion bomb. They use fission to create pressure/temperature and 'ignite' the fuel via fusion.
      Thats why we havent created fusion, because we cant sustain the reaction in any meaningful way yet.

    Listen, will is a very bad explanation as to why a corrupted creature would be able to survive a nuke, will isnt invincible, at a certain point you can overcome it with brute force, and a corrupted creatures will is basically negligible, with the amount of power a nuke has it would simply bypass the will of corrupted, great and even cursed rank creatures instantly and vaporize them no matter how strong they are, now when we get to unholy it becomes a separate matter but until then its just an excuse

      im guessing that they tried testing a nuke during the early stages of the spell.this is not far in the future. it reasonable that that would not kill a corrupted nc. seeing this im guessing they stopped developing nukes and worked on spelltech like we just saw.

      why is this guy getting so many downvotes? short explanation is shadow slaves' power system isnt all that great and G3 needs an excuse to get traditional weapons out of the equation. but if corrupted monsters were actually strong enough to survive this kind of stuff then the ranks above it should have already reduced our silly globe into a bunch of rock fragments since the power scales exponentially by rank

      Its a fantasy universe with all kinds of crazy powers. Youre finding it hard to believe a nuke wont kill a corrupted? Why? Who says it doesnt have some heat resistance shield? Radiation resistance? Hell, if they can use essence, it means they can magically enhance their bodies to ludicrous heights.
      Theres nothing wrong with the system, the author just hasnt explained things that well. Use your imagination.
