Liam was a nobody, whether it was grades or sports or appearance or social life. Not because he didn’t have a brain but because his luck was just that bad. However, everything changed when a mysterious game called 'Evolution Online' was suddenly launched. The world he knew changed upside down!

There was blood, death, and carnage everywhere. While everyone from small companies and big governments scrambled to get a foothold on this mysterious video game, some people’s lives turned for the better and some for the worse.

Liam, unfortunately, being the latter, still somehow ended up at the bottom of the barrel. His insignificant life was squished like an insect and his loved ones were destroyed right in front of him. In the end, he was already dead without ever having a single chance to fight back.

But his story did not end there. Liam found himself returned back to the time before everything began!

Watch as the young man who was once a nobody reaches for the pinnacle of strength and power wreaking havoc on the world that destroyed him once! This time everything will be different! Collapse

I have read only 240 chapters, so my opinion may not seem trustworthy to everyone, but still, usually you can judge the quality of a book even by the first 20-30 chapters, not to mention 240.
I dropped this book for a number of reasons.
    1. And this is a real drawback for me that made my interest in the book fall at an incredible speed.
MC is completely unable to concentrate on the set goals .... He runs to different places and is busy with different things, but in fact these are all unimportant things.
Just imagine a situation that you lived your life terribly, lived the life of a slave and because of your weakness you lost everything, you hate your weakness, and in the end you die .... BUT! Here it is, you get a second chance, moreover, you have knowledge of different possibilities for strengthening! What will you do? I believe that any person with such experience and brains will start like a mad beast trying to become stronger! You will literally want to spend every second of your time on becoming stronger faster and casting aside all the fears of your past life.
But what does MC do? I'll tell you, out of 240 chapters I've read, only 30%, and that's at best, was spent on strengthening HIMSELF! What do I mean? That is, improving your skills in which you can get enlightenment, improving mana control, void energy, learning new skills or trying to get a legacy, improving your LEVEL! It was said that from level 50 you can finally cleanse your body and make an ideal foundation, and various powerful classes will also open up, but MC is still running around without a class.
So, what does MC spend his time on if not strengthening himself? That's right! ON ALL KINDS OF OTHER CRAP! Probably 100 chapters were spent on his pets. First hatch the egg, then level up the pets, then help them evolve, then help them evolve again (in total, for 240 chapters he helped his fox evolve twice), and a bunch of chapters were spent on his sister and neighbor. First help them figure out the game, then get golems to protect them, then pull them out of the problems they create a couple of times..... In short, MC, instead of spending all his time on strengthening himself, spends it on anything but this.
This simply goes against all logic, and I was just shocked by it for all 200+ chapters.
    2. This problem comes from the same source as the first flaw I pointed out.
Whining... Every time something goes wrong, MC starts whining about how cruel fate is to him, how it vehemently does not want him to succeed, and starts panicking when something does not go according to his plan, and then whines again that his strength is not enough.....
At the very beginning of the story, MC did everything right, he was very strong, and was head and shoulders above all the players, if he had not then started wasting his time on all sorts of nonsense, then by the time of chapter 240, he could have been 20-30 levels higher, and already fulfilled part of his plans, and naturally become much stronger. But he did not do this, and therefore decided to constantly whine about fate.
    3. For me, this MC is not cruel, decisive and vengeful enough. I can still understand why he did not start acting against the GU family, although I was terribly irritated by the fact that the author refuses to give information about when the players will be able to get their power in the real world. The realization that I can't see an unknown number of chapters of MC killing his most hated enemies from his past life really dismoralized me. But it killed me even more when MC refused to take normal revenge on those he could. Those two idiots Alex and Mia at the beginning of the book, when they went against MC for stupid reasons, and even wanted to kill him endlessly so that he would lose his level and equipment, and he simply refused to go and kill them... He could have crippled their meridians, or just killed endlessly.... They even came to his doorstep to ambush him, and he, under a stupid pretext (he's too lazy to deal with them now), returned and hid in the city.... Nonsense! Two weak girls whom MC could easily kill, and he comes up with some ridiculous pretexts. This really disappointed me.
    4. Too many plot holes in the plot, this greatly affects the interest in reading. 5. I read the comments and realized that it will only get worse, so I realized that there is no chance of correction for this book, so I say goodbye to it.

It's garbage at this point, if it came out in 2017 it might be good but the current ideas are giving me cringe(I have read 800+ chapters.)

A novel which had a pretty decent premise. Lots of world building with quite a bit of mystery. Its almost difficult to mess it up, and the author did just that. I read close to 800 chapters. It started out decent, but towards the middle when mc starts fighting the "strong" opponents, the novel takes a nosedive and becomes utter trash.

Mc keeps on taking stupid risks. Mc keeps on falling into these ridiculous, not survivable solutions. Mc then "grits his teeth" and with his bloodshot eyes and woth the power of plot arm.... ahem, with the power of his determination either wins the fight or somehow survives for no reason. This trope is endless. Like he gets this extremely powerful tablet. A impossible to beat enemy targets him because of that. Mc survives due to plot armor. Then mc keeps showing that off every chance he gets. Its irritating.

I usually say atleast read a bit to see if a novel matches your tasts. But this thing, i would say don't waste your time. You will probably like the beginning. But there is no payoff. By the time there was some payoff, the author went full on retard mode and the story has gone to shit.

This was alright at the start but everything after that fell apart and was horrible, not to mention that it took around 800 chapters for author to move on from the game arc… everything got dumbed down and some things do not make any sense anymore. The writing quality also dropped a lot… I tried my best trying to read this but srsly I cant anymore, tricked us at the start puke eyetwit swim evil

I really like this novel for it being not too reliant on the plot armour. MC is quite intelligent and tries everything possible to not f#ck up things but has pretty bad luck.
This novel deserves more tha 3.1 rating. It doesn't do the justice for the good read.
If you are into suspense than this is for you.

Not bad at times but author can't seem to find a way to connect their story points with out rushing. The story started out well paced the every so often it just rushes through stuff. This issue only seems to get worse as the story goes on, it feels like the reading equivalent of riding with someone trying to learn stick shift.
