«You’re too arrogant.»

To Dyon, it seemed as though these words were heard all the time.

However, how could these people possibly know of all his hard work? Of the fact that sleep was but a distant relative of his. How could they know that he never had a single moment to rest.

And yet, despite their ignorance, they still said, «you’re too arrogant…»

But where were those people when a five-year-old Dyon’s eyes shone looking at a computer screen filled with code? Where were those people when an eight-year-old Dyon played his piano and plucked his guitar strings until his fingers bled… needing to vent his feelings about his lost mother without bothering his fatigued father? Where were those people when Dyon sat alone at ten-years-old… when his parents were gone, and the only thing left was a room filled with inventions and computers?

Dyon’s arrogance wasn’t borne of thin air. It was his hard work. It was his shield. And he wasn’t willing to give it up…

Now alone, he left his home behind.

He was no longer the boy genius who changed the human mortal realm. He was now nothing but a commoner, a bug noble families saw fit to step on. An insignificant existence.

And yet, Dyon was still the same unchanging person. Standing tall, his eyes firm and his will indomitable.

This so-called Martial World would come to understand the meaning behind his existence…

**Excerpt**

***

«You’re quite bold for a girl who’s almost been recluse for her whole life you know,» Dyon said chuckling.

«Little sister Delia and Meiying probably think so too, but you’ve been in my heart since the opening ceremony. Maybe not exactly in this way… But sometimes a foot in the door for a long time leads to a fully open one, no?»

Dyon smiled, 'it seems like she’s been watching from afar for a long time… it must be lonely being in that room with Libro all the time.'

Dyon felt a delicate hand playing with his collar, «the truth is that I’m always playing the gentle big sister role, mostly because I have no idea how much longer I’ll have the chance to…»

The vulnerability in her voice made Dyon tremble. Madeleine was so strong, yet it seemed even martial artists had their weaknesses too.

Author: As a disclaimer, RMW is my first novel, as such, the quality of the novel vastly improves as you go on — to the point where I’m very much confident that volumes two and three can compare to the best originals have to offer. If you stick with me, you won’t be disappointed :) Collapse

I've read a lot of books and I can say that this is probably not the worst thing I've read (infinite mana was the worst thing I've read) I usually read at least up to 300 chapters to figure out if it's a good book or not, but 20 chapters were enough for me to become the strongest genius in the academy., which he joined 3 weeks ago, against children who have been cultivating all their lives, who have been stuffed with pills since childhood, but he has become the strongest, in my opinion this is too much, there is no character development, there is nothing, then there is too much attention about women, a girl cannot fall in love with you so easily, and There won't be a noble watching a commoner dog, but all the villains are just cardboard, well, I'm a little burned out on this book, so I'm sorry, I just really liked his new book, I thought it was worth reading his old work, but it wasn't worth it.( I'm sorry for the clumsy English, it's not my native language, so there are some mistakes.)

I initially liked the book, but the story goes stale when,
The author has genuinely good ideas and concepts initially, but sacrifices them for a fast-paced, shock-value book that will get popular easier.

Many events claimed as necessary didn’t really add much.

This is a pattern I’ve noticed in other works by the same author.

This book also follows a repetitive cycle:

step 1: MC is thrown into a hopeless situation.
step 2: He escapes through schemes, luck (plot armour), or external help.
step 3: repeat for 2000+ chapters.

the 'villains' are badly written and 2d with little to no thought out motivation, for example

according to another review across 2000 chapters there are only '3 brilliant plot twists' with two of them being mid series while the other in the final book, this implies that you have to invest yourself into atleast 1000 chapters in order reach a point notable enough to be called brilliant. If you have to read over half of a 13 volume series for a plot twist then it simply isn't worth the effort IMO.

overall i think the initial ideas of the story were good, but it just ends up being so tiring and mind numbing reading the same twists over and over. the story isn't to generic, as it has a decent plot but it isn't anything special either. rather than being able to genuinely enjoy the story it has become a chore to force myself to continue reading. im sure the quality improves as it goes on as this was authors first novel, but it doesn't change the fact that it takes alot of effort and pain to get into.

TLDR: personally i wouldn't reccomend reading it, but if this type of story tickles your pickle and you've got a shitton of free time, then by all means go ahead.

I don't recommend reading this book at all. The author is a stupid sadist, and he also nerfed the mc for a good quarter of the whole novel

Has some good parts but it has a ton of bad parts. So much that you spend most your time skipping chapters. Like you want to know the overall plot and how it turns out, but the author spenda so much time on crappy chapters filled with nonsense. Ypu put up with it hoping he gets back to some decent writing... obly to eventually give up and drop it.

Plot armor 100/10. Lots of MC sucks to MC super smart back to MC sucks. MC so OP but also so weak... until he breaks though like 100 years of cultivation in 3 seconds due to not having better ideas on how to make him win against yet another impossible enemy.

Yes, it's good, but the author has some sadistic tendencies to make the protagonist get screwed in any situation. There is also a romance that sometimes you love and sometimes you hate.

In conclusion, if you are tolerant you can read that afterwards it pays off, because Leoneol is a great protagonist and the world, plot and everything else is very well done.

The novel is quite well done, especially for a first novel, but it takes some (with not enough explanation) shortcuts so the novel does not become 3k+ long.

    World building is in average.
    Story progression is above average.
Character development(with romance) is excellent for MC, FML's and a few others but there are quite a lot of characters that only get mentioned rarely after their main arc.
    Character interactions are logical.
Ending felt a bit to fast but the ending itself is good.

    It is basically:

Romance > Characters > Story == World building

If i had to give it a rating i would give it a 7.9/10. I would recommend it for the harem(ironically) and the MC's character because i found that a highlight, The story is nothing special though it also is not really generic. The world itself is quite well made but it basically has no substance because the author did not go in depth.

You really notice the difference between the world building in this novel over his other novels. In his other novels the world building is excellent as well.

solid novel here. slow medicore start and will soon ramp up.

    things to note;
    Masochistic tendency
    Decent romance
    Smart-idiot bipolar tenedency
3 brilliant plot twist (2 mid story and last book)
    exelcent overall plot
    planar dimension expansion sequel possible

    Final rating 4.8
Reason: bad slow start, annoying idiotic decisions, rare gramatical errors
    Verdict: Recomended to read

Still worth the read. This was Awespec's first published book on webnovel. He was just starting out back then. This was over 3 years ago. The only reason he is rewriting is to bring this masterpiece to his current writing quality. But, this is a fully finished book with a relatively good ending.

PS: Don't try to binge this. It ruins the experience. I would recommend no more than 15 chapters a day.
