Callius von Jervain.

A character who dies no matter what he does. A character who falls into a forced choice route where he can only die, no matter his choices up to that point. However, there is a single route where the character can live and play the game.

And I have to carve out that route somehow.

Because I’ve become Callius von Jervain in the game. Collapse

    It's a good story, I rate it 4/5.

I don't really know what to say, but it's a Korean story with a lot of action, a confusing but linear plot, and a unique power system. I've never seen a similar power system, so it was good news.

For those curious, the MC has some assistance from a system, as it has been transferred to the world of his game. The world's power system is linked to religions. Religions in turn are special, as they reflect on weapons, there is the religion of the sword, the spear, the axe, the shield, the gauntlets and many others. The MC starts out as a Pilgrim of the Sword Religion who possesses the power to turn dead bodies into swords. The MC in turn has a unique ability in which by transforming a sword he can choose to resolve his grudge or desire in life and gain stat points. He uses this power to strengthen himself and survive all the confusion that future history will bring.

This story started out very basic like a Witcher adventure, then it went into a nobility plot, and when the power came to the swords with elemental powers everything just went off really fast and the plot got more confusing.

At the end I believe it started to decline a little compared to the beginning, in terms of plot, but I didn't find the ending unsatisfactory. Furthermore, the characters are great, they are all alive and have good interactions.

Decent if you turn off your brain on some moments. Solid 6 out of 10.
The plot is pretty cliched, but the weapon system is kinda interesting, The translation is not bad, sometimes though it moves from 3rd person to 1st.
See some signs of harem at the moment of the 70th chapter, but mc is impotent.
Overall, it's not bad to read if you just want to skip time

Due to translator starting this in 2021 and still only having 78 chapters out of 281 I would say this will be completed in 5 years with the speed chapters are getting released. We can only hope that translator has more time to release more chapters or they give it to someone else.

Good read one of the best I have read,
the story is similar to the Amber sword with a corrupt kingdom and imminent civil war, and Empire looming in the background ready to pounce. wiseacre
Making Swords out of corpses, very dark souls esque. hokage
But I heard it is low on chaps, the total is only shy of 300 crybaby

One of the best novels on the site IMO.

I wish the translator would pump out more chaps instead of 1 per week.
