    Tbh, a lot of people call the book the Death Note, but it's entirely obvious that the MC is not Light. If the MC were facing someone of L's caliber, he would have been discovered long ago.

      Impossible because unlike death note where L found that kira should have access to the police files and deduced that kira is connected to someone related to high rank police officers, our mc simply has a system which directly tells him the names of all people like a fcking news papers, anathor problem is that L can't fcking hide cause the system will reveal his entire bio the next day and his name will also be added to the cursed names list, but you know what's the biggest problem is MANY FCKING PEOPLE HAS THE POWER TO CURSE!!!         All good points. But the main reason this MC would be caught is because the MC targets exactly those people who have targeted him or the people he cares about in some fashion. His targets are biased. His targets have an obvious progression as his range of power and influence expanded.

        The timing of his curses and the targets of his curses, if they can be traced, will lead to certain obvious conclusions for anyone who cares enough to investigate:

        1) The person doing the curses started with low-level figures, all of whom were hostile to the Mortal Worlds of the Heavenly Court.

        2) The targets expanded to include more powerful figures at time-scales which are observable, allowing for the observer to notice a growing web of interaction, and more importantly, a biased web of interaction.

        3) They will note that several of the people who were and are still being targeted cannot have a measurable effect on the calamity, meaning those targets are personal rather than strategic.

        4) They will easily see that some figures likely aren't being targeted at all. (While the Heavenly Emperor covered his bases somewhat by pretending to be targeted, it's not impossible for someone to reason that he's lying.)

        5) The MC has a tendency to target people within a very limited timeframe of them doing something to offend him. Even if the targets aren't always immediately cursed upon gaining his ire, they are usually targeted within 10 years.

        6) The gaps in curses (periods when there are no curses at all) and the uptick in curses (periods where he's much more aggressive, even going so far as to kill his targets) can also be used to help narrow down the locations and events where he was active.

        While it would be hard or even impossible for any random individual to tie all of this back to him (except for some people who are close to him), it's not impossible to at least create a profile of what his means and motivations likely are.

        The more often he uses curses for personal vendettas, the more rapidly a L-level character would uncover his real identity. This novel doesn't have L, so the MC is safe. But if the author wanted to challenge the MC, an L character would be the MC's worst nightmare.
