      There are a ton of reasons to need to insta-kill. What if they get a kill on him? Or they run? Or they target people he cares about? Allowing a fight to drag on allows for uncontrollable variables.

      The simulations are based on ideal versions of his targets, and are based on the assumption they're trying to do everything they can to win. The real target might use tactics or have motivations the simulation does not.
