    I always find it really funny how most cultivation novels fail to grasp the fact that time isn't just a number to show progress. He is now over a hundred years old, equivalent to the oldest human on earth, and you're telling me his personality is still exactly the same as when he was a teenager?

    It's like these authors think that since the appearance of a character remains young, their mentality also remains frozen in time. It really irritates me sometimes.

        That's not always true. There are a couple chinese novels that more or less understand this and people do become more mature as time passes, so it's not necessarily in their blood, but it does happen very often.

    Ummm... I've said before that the distances and scale in this are shit, but this is just a whole other level.

    His abode is a 30 minutes sword flight away from his peak, which means the distance is in the dozens of kilometers at least, and in the thousands at most. We don't actually know because we have absolutely no idea how fast or powerful anything or anyone is, once again a scaling problem.

    His simulation thing is described to scan within 100 meters.

    How the F#CK did he scan the whole sect?!?

    I'm gonna drop this just for that, because if there's one thing I absolutely cannot stand in a story, it's inconsistency. If it's barely noticeable and you have to turn back chapters to check the details I can still kinda bear it, or if the author fudges some numbers in the status menu cuz he didn't pay attention but if you say one thing and then contradict it LITERALLY ONE CHAPTER LATER I quit.

      Just a heads up but the author is absolutely insufferable with his maximum lifespan. It's never just a round number with the author deciding it's better to always just pick a number and subtract one from it. Even when it gets to ludicrously amounts.
