    The story and plot is definitely interesting and good, but the writing style or translation itself breaks the immersion. But I guess I got used to the works of "I can fix Air-conditioned", overall it's a fun and confusing read so far

      this stuff is great since the MC is a true calculative mastermind. everything is within his plans somehow and it makes sense because the story itself foreshadows the MC's plans very subtly.

    the MC, he's witty, cunning, and has devil-like personality, which is the recipe for great time. but then author decided to nerf him for some reason, and he did this on so many different occasions too which suck ass, not to mention a sharp increase of the amount of fillers. what takes the cake is author paint the story as 'show don't tell' kind, but he use it as a buffer so he can wing it later when he needs it

    and yes, by chapter 600 or so, the translation is outta the window, read it on
    if you want, it's slightly bearable. but honestly, i won't bother starting this if i knew

      stopped at: ch. 606
      the translation/editing quality was already bad (it didn't start bad, the negatives only popped up after the long hiatus, i'm assuming because a different translator picked ot up) but after ch. 600 it just seemed to nosedive. and i honestly don't know how the translator managed to pull it off.
      it's like a show rated 1/5 somehow managing to get worse; it's honestly impressive.

      anyways, the novel is wonderful. the plot, the characters, everything is very, very nice.
      unfortunately, the fact that one cannot understand 4/5th of what he is reading sucks out all of the joy.
      i will stop here, and pray to the gods and fate that a (at the very least) half-baked translator notices the atrocity done to this work of art and decides to make his own edit.
