Frascoia Continent… Various races like Celestials, Demons, Humans, Monsters, Elves, Dwarves, and so on occupied this continent.

Humans and the other races lived on the mainland of the continent while the Celestials and Demons lived in Heaven and Purgatory, respectively.

Within the Demons, a prodigy named Azaroth rose quickly, even by demons' standards, to the point of being dubbed a «Demon God. There was only one person above him within the demons: The Great Demon Venerable, the Demons' Supreme Godfather.

Azaroth’s extraordinary talent never had the chance to blossom to its full potential; a terrible calamity struck him down and he died soon after. But was this calamity just misfortune or was it hiding an opportunity for him?

Near his deathbed, he prepared for his future ascent to achieve his lofty goal.

Millions of years had passed after Demon God Azaroth’s demise and now a young aristocrat called Edwin Rhodes came across a mysterious cave. Collapse

If you're looking for a TRULY Evil MC, who ignores face slapping scenarios and actually acts like an ancient wise demon and not some prepubescent child then this book is the one for you... before chapter 200.
After Chapter 200+ everything goes down hill. The book clearly adds more and more padding. From the way it describes one of the "antagonist's" backstory for at least 5-7 chapters before finally continuing the story which just felt jarring, to the way they instead focus the story on side characters for chapters (5-10) at a time.
While these are interesting, it isn't interesting enough to read about them that long. For christ sake, the author spent about a paragraph and a half describing a girl eating fish and everyone gawking at how beautiful she was while she ate... Why did the author even write that? Would anyone reading a book for an Evil MC give a single fuk about how beautiful this "snow jade beauty" side-character is, besides her just being "beautiful?"
Overall, a disappointing book. Even later on, they start adding face slapping to the novel. The book's quality fell off a cliff, and I know this is something Webnovel's tend to run into, and I'm typically somewhat excepting of "padded" pacing while cool things are figured out if there's SOME sense of progression.
Yet, the chapters involving side characters get old so fast. It's like watching Dragon Ball Z and then having to sit through multiple filler episodes about Krillin, like... WHO THE FUK CARES?

just an edgy protagonist who pretends to be a villain despite not being qualified to be counted as one.
    bad writing and stupid story.
author is retarded and its obvious he didn't think things through and just started writing without prior plans and settings.he thinks that just by writing a different type of novel he could create a masterpiece, and to be honest he is right these kind of novels which are considered as "dark and evil" do have potential but its obvious that he isn't up to the task.he simply doesn't have the creativity to make a good novel.
a worthless novel made by a talentless author.don't read it since its just a waste of time.
what is even more pathetic is that he added R18 scenes to raise popularity, how stupid. 6

For those who read up to 200+ i wanna ask if this is worthy to read? For F sake idk if he is MC or the enemies.. all of his enemy knows his identity only he the mc doesn't know that his identity is already expose.. and his battle prowess is so weak he only knows the basic skill/technique. His retainer can kill/defeat rank1 above them but MC cannot. SO I WANNA ASK IF THIS IS WORTHY TO READ?

None of the MC's retainers are stronger than him, he knows that he has enemies and he manages to slowly beat them.
MC doesn't focus too much on combat but more on calculating things and manipulating people for his own benefit, he's also cultivating a new way for his own path so he might be a bit slower than normal but he's much stronger.

If you've read Reverend Insanity and like it then this is for you, honestly this book is rather similar to it (In my opinion atleast)

I had to drop it after 200, too much filler padding and uncharacteristic "face-slapping". I may come back at a later time if I have nothing else to read.

One of the best novels around atm

The protagonist does not follow mass morality, in other words, he has his code and follows it.

That means he is "evil" by common standards, yet the equilibrium between "evil" is well done, without being a fake "evil" character or being a boring emotionless machine. The mc is also neither OP nor overly weak, just at the right point.

The antagonists are not too dumb, with some characters managing even to outsmart the mc when he acted carelessly. The other side characters could be better fleshed out, but they aren't unbearable either.

The world-building is congruent and shows good potential, the pace is decent (the best way to read it is to let accumulate a few chapters).

In general, it's a very good novel, although not reaching the power level of the "classics" it's entertaining and unique in its way.
