Chapter 1438: I Want To Drink Some Too |
When I asked Katsuki about it... She told me that they ended up like this themselves and she didn’t do anything.
She claimed that all she did was prepare some food and drinks for them since they claimed they were bored because I was not there. Then the girls went ahead to drink themselves to this state...
I don’t know about you but... I kind of feel a little miffed that they went ahead to have an entire party without me... I can party too!
As though reading my mind, Katsuki quickly added, "Mistress... Any party with you would dissolve to you in between everyone’s legs... And it wouldn’t just be because you wanted it..."
Ah... Right... Ok, fair enough...
I guess if I had been here, the girls might not even be touching the food and would just be touching me instead.
Guess this might be one of the rare times that my girls could actually party with food and drinks instead of getting dicked by me.
"What did you let them drink anyway? I’m surprised that they even got this drunk... Even Tsara and Ira got drunk..." I asked, looking at all my girls who were quite literally piled up in a corner of the room for them to sleep off their drunkenness.
"I’m not sure, Mistress. Emilia was the one who supplied the food and drinks."
I turned back to look at my girls, all of them still completely knocked out and unconscious in a pile and showing no signs of waking up.
With how drunk they were, the alcohol that Emilia supplied must have been a pretty strong batch for them to even make Tsara and Ira affected by it.
I wonder...
"Do we have any of that alcohol left?" I asked.
Katsuki paused before nodding slowly, "We do, Mistress... Shall I get some for you to try?"
I nodded, "Might as well~"
I watched as she disappeared from view before she reappeared again, this time with an unopened bottle in her hands which she was cradling quite carefully.
She’s treating it almost like it was something really precious and... Hmm? Wait a minute...
I stared at the bottle in her arms, then at the scattered bottles all over the floor, then back at the bottle again.
I’m not sure if I’m seeing things but... The bottles that were all over the floor were in normal brown bottles with white labels on them... But the bottle that Katsuki was cradling was a pure white bottle with golden markings along the edges.
I sucked in a breath, "Katsuki... That is definitely not the alcohol that they were drinking..."
Katsuki nodded slowly, "Forgive me, Mistress... But I was told that if you were interested... This is the one that you should drink."
"And.... Who was the one who told you that?"
"Emilia, Mistress... She said that your constitution would render drinking the alcohol meaningless so... You should drink this one instead. It’s the same but... Enhanced."
My constitution? Ah... She’s talking about my boons I suppose... I guess it does prevent me from getting drunk easily...
But what does she even mean by ’enhanced’?
I shrugged, "Alright then... Go ahead and pop it open for me."
Katsuki did just that, my Inugami maid shifting her tail to wrap it around the cork and pulling off the cork with a loud pop.
Oohh~ Getting a drink from a bottle that was popped open by a fluffy tail~ Can’t say I’ve ever thought about being able to experience that here~
She pours it out into a glass and I watch the golden liquid pour itself out to fill up the wine glass.
Hmm? This actually smells rather sweet... Like honey?
Katsuki carefully handed the glass to me, still treating it like it was some kind of precious material or something which really confused me somewhat.
I’m pretty sure she never treats anything this way aside from maybe the things I hand to her... And the fact that she was doing this for a bottle of alcohol was definitely weird.
But the moment I brought the glass up to my nose and the smell wafted up to me, I realised why she was doing so exactly.
I slowly lowered the glass without drinking it, then turned towards Katsuki and gave her a pointed look.
"This... Was given to you by Drebann, wasn’t it?"
Katsuki’s tail went still and that was all I needed to see to know I hit the nail right on the head.
The reason I figured this out was that I smelt my honey in there so this alcohol was definitely made using my honey as one of its ingredients.
And even with that, it would not be a reason for Katsuki to handle it preciously like that so I can only assume that the person who made this was someone that she could not offend.
The last part already narrowed down the number of possible people to three entities and one of them is me which could be ruled out immediately.
The second was Mother and if she wanted to feed me some alcohol made from my honey, she wouldn’t do it in such a roundabout way.
So that left the third option which was the gods themselves... And I know of only one goddess who was collecting my honey to apparently use it for something and that was Drebann.
"What is she doing giving you this?" I asked.
Katsuki bowed her head, "It appeared when you were out, Mistress... There was a note attached to it..."
She then pulled out a note which I realised was literally a private date application that was exactly the same format as the ones that my girls were using.
On it was a simple line of words that said ’Made a batch of wine using your Mistress’s honey. Let her try it. I think she would really like it and you would too’.
I paused and looked at Katsuki who was averting her gaze and looking at my feet instead.
She was... Actually looking at my feet because when I flexed my toes, her tails actually shifted in interest.
Could I actually consider this as the goddess bribing my maid to feed me something?
Hmm... I guess I technically asked for it so it’s just a matter of my maid receiving a gift from one of my friends and then choosing to use that gift for me because I asked for it... I think?
I’m basically trying to justify Katsuki’s actions, ok? I’m not going to accuse her of doing anything wrong here.
I lifted up the glass and held it up to my face to sniff it again, the sweet smell of the alcohol almost making me down the entire thing in one go.
Thankfully, I managed to hold back and slowly tilt the glass back until some of the liquid touched my lips.
Almost immediately, I felt the sweetness of the liquid pour into my mouth and I found myself gulping down the rest of the liquid before I could stop myself.
I could feel the burn of the alcohol as it slid down my throat but it was a pleasurable burn and the sweetness more than made up for it.
In an instant, the glass was empty and I definitely felt unsatisfied with just that single glass and needed even more.
I looked at Katsuki and she didn’t even hesitate as she was already pouring out another glass for me before I could even ask for it.
I held up the glass again, taking a moment to enjoy the sweet smell wafting from the liquid before I decided to taste it slowly this time, letting the liquid flow past my lips and fill up my mouth.
A shudder rocks through my body as I felt the sweetness of the liquid fill up my mouth and spread itself throughout my body, making me feel all tingly and lightheaded.
I swallowed the liquid and the feeling intensified, making it feel like I was floating off the ground right at that moment.
I needed at least a minute before I found my attention snapping back to myself and I slowly pushed out my hand that was holding the glass out to Katsuki.
Once again, she filled up the glass wordlessly and this time she was looking at me closely as I brought the glass back up to my face.
I enjoyed the smell once again and filled my mouth up with all of the liquid in the glass, feeling myself float again from the sweetness of the alcohol.
My eyes were looking up at the ceiling and it felt like I was floating upwards closer and closer towards it, my body feeling as light as a feather.
Then I felt the edges of my vision start to white out and I didn’t even try to fight it as I let myself fall into that white, fluffy feeling...
