Chapter 1295 -947: Integrating land, Continuing Native Land Localization

The perspective shifts to Germany.

With the war between Australasia and the Island Nation concluded, the most anxious country has to be Germany.

Even though Australasia lies thousands of miles away, the weapons they utilized in the Island Nation battleground were terrifyingly effective, decisively impacting the European War.

Upon learning that Australasia possessed such weapons, the German government formulated two plans.

The first plan was to develop weapons similar to those of Australasia to be used on the European Battlefield, aiming to end the war outright.

The second plan was to accelerate the assaults on other European countries, deploying more troops before Australasia could use that weapon against Germany, thereby ending the European war as swiftly as possible.

Both plans were pursued concurrently, ensuring Germany would remain invincible whether one or both were successful.

As for the possibility of neither plan succeeding, that was something the current German government wouldnt even contemplate.

After all, with the integration of Czechoslovakian and Austrian industry, as well as Austrian and Polish military technology, Germanys military tech talent was unquestionably among the best in the world.

If current Germany couldnt develop weapons like those of Australasia, it would only mean that Australasias military technology and talent reserves were significantly ahead.

If that were the case, accepting defeat due to technological advancements would be plausible.

However, the Germans did not believe that Australasia, once merely a colony, could surpass military technology so vastly in less than forty years.

If the German Empire during World War I couldnt achieve such a feat, how could Australasia possibly do so?

Arthur was not at all worried about other countries potentially developing nuclear weapons.

Initially, Australasia had monopolized nearly half of the worlds nuclear physics talent to develop nuclear weapons. Although other countries later intensified their training in this field,

Australasia still held about one-third of the worlds talent in nuclear physics, which is the true reason why they could deploy nuclear weapons now.

Any country that controls over one-third of the worlds talent in a particular field is bound to lead globally in that arena.

Because it is virtually impossible for two countries to each hold one-third of the talent in any industry worldwide. After all, other countries arent foolish; they understand the importance of talent in any era.

Arthur was pleased to see Germany potentially intensify their attacks on other countries,

Especially the war against Russia, which had now escalated. The ongoing battles, the defense of Moscow and the defense of Stalingrad, involved total forces numbering over a million in each, making them massive-scale battles.

In particular, the defense of Moscow, gathering large forces and elites from both Germany and Russia, had more than 4 million participants with casualties over a million, averaging at least 20,000 to 30,000 deaths each day on the battlefield.

It is worth noting that unlike historical defenses of Moscow, this worlds defense took place in the Northern Hemispheres summer, making the surroundings of Moscow not so cold.

This allowed the German militarys logistics to just barely keep pace, almost matching those of the Russian army.

What Arthur most hoped to see was a significant depletion of Russias manpower.

Compared to colonial empires like Britain and France, a country like Russia was far more formidable.

With abundant mineral resources, a vast population, and contiguous land, Russia lacked significant vulnerabilities.

Britain and France were different. No matter how powerful, their native lands had limitations.

More importantly, the distance between their colonies and their native lands made assimilation very challenging.

This meant that Britain and France had inherent weaknesses; their threat to Australasia was not as significant as that from Russia.

While anticipating Germanys response, Arthur also turned his attention to the still-neutral South America.

The continent was filled with numerous nations, including regional powers like Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.

Although they couldnt match the superpowers, the trio were still competitive globally, settling in the top sixteen.

Especially Brazil, which seemed poised to become a future superpower following the dissolution of Austria and Poland and the division of the Island Nation.

South America, with its land spanning 17.8 million square kilometers, was naturally rich in resources.

Venezuela had one of the largest oil reserves, and Brazil was among the top for iron ore reserves; natural gas was primarily found in Venezuela and Argentina; coal was mainly in Colombia and Brazil; bauxite predominantly in Suriname; and copper reserves surpassing 100 million tons placed it at the top in the continent.

Chile held the worlds second-largest copper reserves, with Peru in fourth place; bismuth, antimony, silver, saltpeter, beryllium, and sulfur reserves were also among the highest in the continent; tin, manganese, mercury, platinum, lithium, uranium, vanadium, zirconium, thorium, and diamonds were also plentiful.

Moreover, Argentinas Black Land made South America the perfect import destination for mineral resources in Arthurs eyes.

After all, historically, South America was the United States backyard; now that the United States was gone, it was only natural for South America to become Australasias backyard.
