Chapter 2394: Attack. |
"Without alerting them?"
Nux laughed.
"Oh I am going to alert them.
I am going to alert them, I am going to let them surround me again and this time—
I am going to tear them apart."
He spoke as his golden eyes shined intensely. The women frowned, they had no idea how he was going to do it, especially now when he was significantly weaker than before.
Nux smiled, he could tell what they were thinking, so now that he had charged himself, he stood up, Skyla and Lane rushed to support him, as if they were worried he would fall since his body was different than before.
He let them come, mostly out of wanting to touch them perversely than needing support, the girls obviously didn’t mind and once Nux had enough—
"Come with me."
"Where are we going?"
Amaya asked.
"Well, let me see."
Nux spoke as suddenly, a vast screen appeared in front of them. A screen that showed a beautiful endless forest of light where countless glowing branches stretched in every direction.
"This is..."
The Seer’s expression changed, she turned towards him with a shocked look on her face.
"How are you seeing it from... here?"
She asked.
And that made Nux chuckle.
"Where are we?"
He asked.
"Your Universe...?"
The Seer answered as if it was obvious.
"And where is my Universe?"
"What...?"
"Where is my Universe?"
Nux questioned and the Seer’s frown deepened. .
"In the Multiverse..."
"So what exactly is surprising you?"
Nux grinned, the Seer however, shook her head at that as if it wasn’t possible.
"No, no, no.
This isn’t how it works.
No being in ANY Universe has the power to look through the Walls of a Universe and peek into the Multiverse—
That is not possible."
"You are right."
Nux agreed and that only confused the Seer even further.
"If you know that then how—"
But before she could complete her question—
"You said no being in any Universe can look through a Universe’s Walls.
Do you not see how that statement does not apply to me?"
Nux asked.
The Seer’s frown deepened even further, but then, as she gave it more thought, her expression changed.
"You are a Universe..."
And Nux’s grin widened.
"Exactly."
He paused, his golden eyes shining brightly as he stared at the Multiverse in front of him.
"I am a Universe.
I am not looking through any Walls, I am merely looking at where my True Body is and am sharing that vision with all of you."
"No that..."
The Seer felt like what she was being told was wrong but... she couldn’t find any way to refute Nux’s words or prove him wrong.
Nux laughed at her flustered self. This was the first time he had seen her like this. It was... definitely enjoyable.
His wives, however, didn’t find it the least bit amusing.
In fact—
They had no clue what was happening.
What was it that they were seeing, what shocked the Seer so much, what exactly was this Multiverse they mentioned, they had no answer to any of these questions.
And—
They hated every second of it.
But just as they were about to ask Nux for answers, Nux turned to them and—
"I need your help."
He spoke and the moment they heard those words, it was like a switch was flipped.
How long had it been since Nux asked for their help?
How long had it been since they had been watching everything from the sidelines without being able to do anything at all?
But now that he was asking for something on his own—
All the questions they had in their heads no longer mattered and—
"What do you need?"
They asked.
And Nux...
He grinned.
"I want you to attack a few Universes for me."
"What...?"
The women frowned.
A few Universes...?
A few? As in... more than one...?
What...?
"Just wait for a bit."
Nux smiled.
Then, he looked back at the Multiverse, then at a specific Universe inside. This was the Universe where Ul’Thakar won. A Universe where death, darkness and despair reigned above all, a Universe where mortals were made to live lives full of agony just so that Darkness’s Authority could be strengthened, even when there was no need to actually strengthen it since Darkness already ruled it.
"This one seems good enough, doesn’t it?"
Nux commented.
The Seer, who could see what he was seeing, frowned.
"Nux, what are you trying to do?"
She asked with a worried look on her face. This Universe, because it was under one leader’s influence, was stronger than most Universes in the Multiverse and it worried her but—
"I said wait, didn’t I?"
Nux smiled.
A gaze was all he needed to understand that Universe’s Time Signature, then he turned towards the Seer again—
"Once you get the Time Signature, you align your time with it, correct?"
He asked.
And the Seer—
Although the answer to his question was a simple yes, for some reason, she couldn’t bring herself to say those words because she felt like the moment she said it, the moment she confirmed anything—
She would bring upon something inconceivable to the Multiverse.
But—
It was already too late.
She had already made the mistake of bringing Nux to the Multiverse, Nux already knew the answer to the question he just asked, she had told him herself.
Now—
Everything was in his hands.
And Nux—
He grinned, then with a wave of his hands, he moved trillions of trillions of beings in front of him, beings whose worlds he had used to rebuild his body, beings who were now forced inside the Four remaining Worlds and had waged war against each other and—
"Listen to me."
Nux spoke, his voice echoed through the crowd, silencing them in an instant.
"Your homes were taken away from you.
Now, it is time you take them back."
With another wave of his hands, hundreds of thousands of his own puppets appeared in the air.
"You shall go in and claim the worlds you see on your own.
If you do not—
Do not bother returning."
He gave the order.
The trillions of beings in front of him nodded, instantly aligning together. They already knew the drill beforehand, most of them had participated in the Main Universe raids before the Infinities found a way to stop them. Even those who didn’t already knew how it worked because the story had spread.
And honestly?
They had ALL been waiting for this particular moment.
To restart the raids, they just—
Didn’t expect the raids to be at this giant of a scale.
What they didn’t know, however, was the fact that this was just the beginning.
Nux grinned at that thought—
Then he looked at the Universe he had targeted, the Seer looked at him, almost fearful and a little hopeful of what he was going to do, Nux ignored her and—
He moved.
