777 Four Ways
Ray of Judgment looked at the four people standing in front of him with narrowed eyes.
"Unaffiliated powers are not allowed to get involved in a war," he stated.
"That's correct," Fierce Breaker said. "If you can show us the declaration of battle, we will leave."
Ray of Judgment gritted his teeth. Naturally, there was no declaration of battle. They had just come here without sending one. After all, all the previous ones they had sent had been refused.
"I admit, your forces are considerable," Ray of Judgment said as he pulled out his sword. "But do you truly believe you can win? Do you think Dawnlight's reputation is just for show?"
Ray of Judgment pointed his sword at the four of them. "By myself, I can kill 20 of your Fulfilled Crushers. If you want a fighting chance, you need to dedicate 30, and if you foolishly choose to do so, my forces will overwhelm your forces."
"You are scattered, while we are unified. You are unfamiliar with each other, while we've been through countless wars together."
Ray of Judgment moved his sword to the side. "Resistance means death!"
Star Genesis pulled out her staff and waved it for a moment. Dense spots of light appeared around her. Each spot contained an incredible amount of Energy.
"Level 4.5 Complex Law," she said.
Swamp Dragon pulled out his bow, and extremely dense and powerful earthen arrows appeared on it. "Level 4.5 Complex Law," he said.
Manny pulled out his humongous sword, and the world around him started to warp. "Level 4.5 Complex Law," he said.
Fierce Breaker pulled out his spear, which started to shine with an intense metallic sheen. "Level 4.5 Complex Law," he said.
All four of them pointed their weapons at Ray of Judgment. "We four are enough!" they shouted in unison.
Ray of Judgment narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth.
The next moment, the world around everyone became grey and oppressive as Ray of Judgment activated his Momentum.
But then his oppressive force was pushed back as his four opponents also activated their Momenta.
Ray of Judgment didn't show it, but deep inside, he was shocked.
All four of them had more powerful Momenta than he had!
Ray of Judgment started to become a bit nervous. If these four were just normal Fulfilled Crushers, he would be able to win effortlessly.
However, all four had Level 4.5 Complex Laws and extremely powerful Momenta.
While they couldn't compare to Crimson Inferno, if two of them worked together, they could have fought Crimson Inferno evenly.
One Crimson Inferno would have been helpless in front of Ray of Judgment.
But two of them…
That would be a risky True Battle.
He didn't want to admit it, but he knew that if these four fought him at the same time…
He might die.
Ray of Judgment clenched his fists so hard that he started to bleed. The frustration and anger were overwhelming.
He wanted to become a Legendary Crusher.
He NEEDED to become a Legendary Crusher!
However, defeating the four of them wouldn't help him a lot. There were no spectators in this war. Everyone else in the Secondary Sector would just hear that Ray of Judgment killed four Fulfilled Crushers, which was to be expected.
There were outstanding Fulfilled Crushers, but most people wouldn't believe that four of these outstanding Fulfilled Crushers were fighting for the same side. Most likely, Dawnlight had just exaggerated.
Ray of Judgment needed to kill a Unique Crusher or Azure Comet.
Entering a war with these four Organizations would weaken or even destroy Dawnlight. At that point, one of the other members of the Big Four would take this opportunity to attack Dawnlight.
Ray of Judgment was confident that he could win against other Unique Crushers, but if those Unique Crushers got help from one or more Fulfilled Crushers, even he would lose.
"I acknowledge your power," Ray of Judgment said with narrowed eyes. "Dawnlight will not attack you on this day."
When the Seekers of both sides heard that, they sighed in relief. This battle would have been brutal.
Yet, Kyle's four friends just looked at Ray of Judgment. It was clear that he was not done speaking.
"Instead, I am willing to offer a trade," Ray of Judgment said. "Allow my forces to travel in a straight line through your territories to achieve something. We are willing to swear oaths and give appropriate compensation."
"To achieve something?" Star Genesis repeated. "That sounds too vague."
"Our goal," Ray of Judgment said, "is the same one that all of you should have."
"Azure Comet's death!"
"Azure Comet is the bane of the Secondary Sector. He turned the Secondary Sector into a land of stagnation for centuries. Even now, he's damaging the integrity of the Secondary Sector by consuming one Planet after the other, leaving them as husks of their former selves."
"His Formation Arrays have ruined the Secondary Sector, and after his attempts at ruining the Secondary Sector have been thwarted by the Contrast Empire, he is now trying to ruin it by turning it into a Planet-less void."
"We are all here for our own reasons. We all have our enemies."
"Yet, Azure Comet is the enemy of all of us!"
"There might be friction between the Contrast Empire and the Array of Stars, but in front of the Cult of Final Fate, they are unified."
"Azure Comet is the Secondary Sector's Cult of Final Fate, and he needs to be stopped!" Ray of Judgment declared.
When the members of the unified forces heard Ray of Judgment's speech, they subconsciously nodded a bit.
Yes, Azure Comet had to be stopped.
He had hurt all of them in some way.
"What a grand speech," Swamp Dragon said as he stepped forward. "What a great way of distorting right and wrong."
Ray of Judgment looked at Swamp Dragon with a slight sneer. "Are you defending Azure Comet?"
"You are interpreting intentions into actions," Swamp Dragon said. "You say Azure Comet wanted to ruin the Secondary Sector. For what? What did he gain? If his goal was to get Sin Flames, he has succeeded. If his goal was to get several Grade Six Energy Stones, he has also succeeded."
"Let me ask you a question of my own. Would you be willing to accept ten Grade Six Energy Stones in exchange for receiving Sin Flames?" Swamp Dragon asked.
Some of the Seekers slightly shook their heads.
Sin Flames were too terrifying.
"Intentions are ethereal, while actions are real," Ray of Judgment said. "His intentions do not matter. His actions have ruined the Secondary Sector, and his current actions will ruin it once more. A crazed beast must be stopped before it can hurt more people."
"Is that his fault?" Fierce Breaker asked as he stepped in. "The Secondary Sector is like a gameboard for all of us. There are rules we have to follow in order to participate, and Azure Comet is following all the rules."
"If someone can ruin a game for everyone else while following the rules, the rules of the game have to be changed. Becoming powerful means taking resources from other Seekers. Altruistic tendencies and generosity will lead to others taking your resources."
"Azure Comet is breaking the game while following the rules. He is gaining resources without stepping over the line."
"Why are you not doing the same thing?"
Fierce Breaker pointed at Ray of Judgment.
"It's because you lack the power to do so!"
"If you had Azure Comet's prowess, you would do the same thing!"
"Azure Comet is not the Bane of the Secondary Sector!"
"Azure Comet is simply the best player!"
