Bai Yu'er felt her disappointment increase the longer she saw how Xiao Chen acted angry and stupid.
You really wouldn't know how well a man's character is until you compare him with others.
Initially, she considered Xiao Chen to be someone extraordinary.
When that man was compared to Jun Xiaoyao, however, the former became nothing more than a worm wiggling in the dirt.
Xiao Chen became little more than an eyesore to her.
"How could someone like this be my fiancé…" Bai Yu'er then shook her head.
She then continued, "Look, I did all of this of my own volition. Just leave already, Xiao Chen."
What Bai Yu'er said felt like a heavy blow crushing Xiao Chen's heart on the spot.
Xiao Chen's chest heaved from all that anguish. He faced Jun Xiaoyao with a cold, pointed, and furious expression. He said, "So, you're Jun Xiaoyao eh? You good-for-nothing... what did you do to Yu'er!?"
Jun Xiaoyao then went on to glare at Xiao Chen with a calm expression, yet his eyes remained unreadable.
To put it precisely, he was eyeing the Panlong Ring on Xiao Chen's finger.
Jun Xiaoyao's acuity of the soul was far beyond that of common people, due to having trained in the Meditative Methods of Chaotic Divinity.
He sensed some kind of unique aura and soul fluctuations from that Panlong Ring.

Something was going on with that ring, and the man wearing it was betraying his fiancé.

The only man that she had eyes for right now was Jun Xiaoyao.

As for Xiao Chen, all that remaining affinity she had for him from them being childhood friends was ground down to nothing by all that disappointment and lies she had to go through before.

Another man had just taken away his fiancé.
Xiao Chen felt as if he had been cheated on. He went on to even speculate that Bai Yu'er sold her body to Jun Xiaoyao to earn that favor.

Xiao Chen's heart had sunk to rock bottom. He no longer cared for propriety. His anger was boiling over so badly that it manifested into a wicked grin on his face. His expression was one of utter coldness and sarcasm.
He was unable to bear the thought of his fiancé cheating on him.
Bai Yu'er was immediately left stunned.
She never thought that a steady, resilient, and admirable character such as Xiao Chen, who showed her concern now and then, would actually accuse her of such things.
Jun Xiaoyao was hardly surprised by this turn of events.

She never thought that Jun Xiaoyao would ever stand up for her.
At that moment, she found herself having some feelings that she couldn't quite place for Jun Xiaoyao as well. One thing was for sure; it was something other than complete loyalty and worship.
All that emotional expression was seen by Xiao Chen to be utter affection for the man whom he was being angry at.
"Burn in hell, you slut!" Xiao Chen was so furious that he felt as if his internal organs were all burning up.
Bai Yu'er was looking up at Jun Xiaoyao with affectionate eyes right before him.
At that moment, he found himself to be have been more than cheated on; it was like looking at his girl making out with another man right in front of him.
"Jun Xiaoyao, do you dare to fight me fair and square?" Xiao Chen yelled at Jun Xiaoyao.
The only way he knew how to end all of that was to completely beat Jun Xiaoyao down right before Bai Yu'er, destroying the man whom he hated the most.
Only by doing so could Xiao Chen vent all the fury burning within him.
He desperately wanted to see Bai Yu'er suffer in remorse and beg for his forgiveness right before him.
"I'm only nine years old, and I take it that you're already 15 or 16? This truly is fair" Jun Xiaoyao flashed a faint grin and said sarcastically.
Xiao Chen's face looked rather awkward by then, but he nonetheless stood his ground and continued, "Why does that matter? You're the divine child of the Jun family; you have access to almost an unlimited amount of resources. I'd say that's fair enough. Again, I ask, do you dare to fight me fair and square?"
Xiao Chen went on to provoke him yet again.
Over the past half-year or so, he was finally able to master the arts contained within the Panlong Ring.
He was confident that few people within his generation would be able to even fight him to a standstill.
He believed that the divine child of the Jun family was no exception.
"Sure, let's head to the combat arena then." Jun Xiaoyao put his hands behind his back and walked right away.
The time for diplomacy had passed.

'If I were to be born in one of the Clans of the Ancients, I would definitely achieve more than what Jun Xiaoyao could. Still, he sure as hell wouldn't notice that I have help from the Panlong Ring,' Xiao Chen thought to himself.
Both of them arrived in the combat arena before long.
Their arrival attracted the attention of many disciples of the Jun family.
"It's the divine child. What's he doing here in the combat arena?"
"I heard that some oblivious fool wants to challenge the divine child."
"You mean that prince from the Ancient Kingdom of Dragon? He sure as hell is as stupid as one could get."
"Right? A fool like him should consider it an honor for the divine child to be willing to lower himself to fight him."
Almost everyone from the Jun family jeered at Xiao Chen sarcastically and condescendingly as both of them made their way to the combat arena.
Xiao Chen saw everything as he clenched his fists.
'Well, those lead characters in legendary novels suffered immense insults, no? Even then, they were all still able to turn the tables.'
'Yeah, what does it matter if you condescending jerks are born in a Clan of the Ancients? I'll teach you all what it means to fight fate and win!' Xiao Chen wore a prideful smirk on his face.
Jun Xiaoyao and Xiao Chen stood in the ring.
Jun Linglong, Bai Yu'er, and many from the Jun family stood around and watched the upcoming battle.
Jun Zhantian and some other elders watched in secret as well.
They were not worried that Jun Xiaoyao would lose the fight.
They simply wanted to see just how far Jun Xiaoyao had gotten with his training by watching that upcoming fight.
"Alright, you could make your move now."
Jun Xiaoyao stood on the ring with his hands behind his back, looking at ease.
"Hmph, I'm afraid you won't have any chance of fighting back if I were to make a move first." A cold, prideful smirk was seen on Xiao Chen's face.
He was a genius who was at Divinity State.
He figured that Jun Xiaoyao, who was only nine years old at the moment, couldn't be all that powerful.
"That so? Alright then." Jun Xiaoyao then nodded.
He lashed out with a palm attack. His towering golden qi caused his surroundings to tremble on the spot.
