Chapter 2913: Feed the Void

Adrian’s body felt a foreign entity cling to it like a parasite but it was so minute that it will be difficult to detect. This would have been a problem if it was any other being but Adrian is a being that has been blessed by the Void as well. It also helps that Paradox is now integrated with his body and is scanning it for any foreign and harmful substances.

"Found a good energy source." Paradox stated as the Void Corruption that should have stuck to Adrian’s body is then grabbed.

The Void Corruption is merely a small particle that accumulates overtime for any beings that have been touched by the Void. It is basically the starting point for any corruption in their bodies. The power of the Void is powerful and is very addictive as it could also twist one’s mind. Even the gods are not exempt from this effect hence why gods that go through the Void either go mad or become Distorted Gods.

The Distorted Gods basically let themselves be consumed by the effects of the Void which twisted their nature. One cannot change them back because they have chosen for themselves to do so. Only they can revert themselves to their normal selves but even that is difficult for beings that have already shut themselves from their past. The power of the Void also erodes the minds of the beings that come in contact with it hence they usually forget what they were in the past.

[Void Corruption has been neutralized and been used to empower the user.]

[Chaos Energy has increased by 10.]

The small hands that tried to latch onto Adrian’s body suddenly started to sneak away or even hide in the far corners of space when they felt that the corruption was not possible. Adrian actually smiled because of this interaction as this meant that he had a way to permanently increase his Chaos Energy. The only problem is that it is difficult to control spells and abilities that use Void Energy.

"The conversion is also a great hassle. Converting Chaos Energy to Void energy is very difficult." Adrian muttered as he could easily shape Chaos Energy into any energy as long as he has mastery over it.

If Adrian likes then he would be able to use elemental spells because of Chaos Energy. The only problem is that there would be no bonus effects when he uses them. He would rather stick to Origin Magic as he could cast it faster and make it more powerful due to compatibility. In the end, Adrian is still a demon and they use Origin Magic.

"Now, I should check on the ones that are in charge of this place." Adrian stated.

"If there is nothing else, we shall go on our way then." Elder Bronx stated as he could be seen in a very exhausted state.

"We will need to talk about that tyrannical energy when you get back. It should not have been present in a Primordial Beast. If that being has already woken up then all Primordial Beast might become the world’s enemy." Elder Koronn stated which made Adrian gulp as that kind of scenario is basically a doomsday one.

"I want to rest already. Fighting when I am this old is not good for my knees." Elder Ascalor stated as he glanced at Adrian as if he wanted the latter to say something.

"Oh! Since the elders have assisted us greatly when we need it the most, you may use the hot spring near the Tree of Life and Death in order to rest your weary old bones. Make sure to ask the Twin Prophets to guide the three of you. Please tell them that I have permitted it as a way to thank the elders." Adrian stated which made Elder Ascalor smile funnily.

"I mean... we did not help because we expected a reward but we will gladly accept the brat’s generous offer. Who are we to say no when you are giving us such a splendid gift. See you later, brat! Make sure to come talk to us about that tyrannical aura as your mortal friends will surely need it." Elder Ascalor stated as he happily created a portal back to Avalon.

"Thank you again and rest well!" Adrian stated with a plastered smile.

The hot springs near the Tree of Life and Death is actually a new place that popped up when the Spring of Life and Death upgraded. It seems that the waters upgraded because it has been purified by the Tree of Life and Death. The purified water is somewhat hot but perfect for soaking the body but it cannot be used by just anyone.

The Tree of Life and Death gave the administration of this hot spring to the Twin Prophets and Adrian as he is the lord of the territory. Only those that they have given permission can use it and it is extremely effective as Adrian has experienced using it for an hour. It could restore stamina that has been severely depleted in half an hour which usually takes eight hours of sleep.

"Huh? Did I get this title because I fed the Void the remnant parts of the crushed heart of the Primordial Beast Nidhogg?" Adrian muttered as he checked the title.

-Hear the Whispers of the Void more clearly.

Description: A title given to beings that have fed the Void with something satisfactory. It is only given to those that the Void itself has acknowledged as a being that can control it.

"It is basically a title that makes talking to the Void easier. I really needed to listen carefully earlier as those whispers were faint." Adrian stated as he is happy with the title but if the gods knew then they would have started a purge.
