Nah I’m talking about also those “official” translators as well. Some of then like the translator for Emperor’s Domination leave out some context related to Li Qiye’s statistics, abilities and powers from the original source in the official chinese version. I guess beggar can’t be chooser either right? I have attained decent level in mandarin, therefore I can go through the original source for double check with the translated version most of the time. Therefore some main characters like Li Qiye who’s power should be even more stronger than the “translated” version but somehow got “downgraded” due to missing original context which it’s quite a pity for those readers who won’t be able to read original context. With that being said, there are also some “official translators” like Deathblade who actually make good translation and it’s not as rigid and stiff feeling in terms of reading experience.

And these so-called “translators” that I’ve previously mentioned above, although some of them are actually making good translation at the start through their OWN effort and ACTUALLY making great attention on translating the original context without making the readers feels like it’s straight up taking out from MTL at the beginning (since an experienced reader like myself, who have read hundreds of novels, would be able to notice it immediately). But unfortunately, most of them would straight up turn into a bunch of blood leeching demons who only wanted to milk the novel and sucking blood as much as possible by splitting one single chapter into 4-5 parts like a bunch of bitches and copy and paste with barely/slight edited MTLs, while they don’t even bother adding the “human translator’s effect” anymore, which what it makes the complete drastic difference between a human translation and a machine translation. The good translator and translated novel would make the reader feels like someone is directly talking to them in their mind, while the other one makes us feel emotionless static voice in our head. I guess if you spend enough time and get used to MTLs, you would soon wouldn’t bother and mind about it just like me. You will notice that there’s no difference between translation and MTLs, since you already perfectly mixed both of them into your own reading style. To be honest, I don’t even feel that much comfortable reading these “translated” novels nowadays since I know that I can do way better on my own by directly translated the sentences in my mind while reading the MTLs.
