Even in a novel like this, the ability to manipulate time is something that is quite difficult. Unfortunately, even the strongest beings in the universe barely know the basics. I wish there were more novels like "Monarch of Time".

Where can I find chapters after 517? MTL only goes up to 517, then I can't find anything. :(

Surprisingly, the RAW of this novel is not that terrible. I don't know why, maybe the author knows how to write well.

Chapter 351 is the best. One of the rarest MCs who doesn't take threats and doesn't lose their temper like hysterics.

Everything is good and enjoyable, MC is lowkey but very reasonable and not annoying like other novel lowkey MC.

The only problem is just the world building a bit lacking, there are some forced thing in world building

It's really good u to a certain point, but then it's just a copy-paste from the 400 chapters onwards.

I've been follwing it for months now on mtl, and I really feel like the author has been using the 'prolong the chapters by whatever useless information necessary' method.

And, the mtl isn't all that horrific either. the pronouns aren't messed up and most of what the author want to say is pretty well conveyed.

overall, a 2.5 to 3/5. It's fast food you can skim through when you're bored.

It's bad. If I have to rate it, probably 2.5/5. It's a guy who crossed over and possessed another guys body but even that part is irrelevant to the story. He then gets to consciously travel to other realms, then fastforward gets unreasonable strong. What he learns there, he adapts it to his real world. And evem that is undeniably boring and only seems to serve as to hype mc up. His family dont even matter, they feel like accessories. There not even a single heart warming coversation, feels dull and fake. His friends or any other characters are there to be dumbfounded, "wow he's a nth class citizen" "wow hes so strong" "wow hes an nth tier evolver". His power basically is given in a silver platter because of his insight cheat. Everythings easy. Why read then.

The good:

I like almost everything about the story. Some people dislike that it doesn't have the usual romance, friendship, and adventure subplots, but I actually like that it focuses mostly on cultivation. I can read any of thousands of other novels to see that other stuff, but there aren't many novels that are just about the cultivation part of the journey.

On a purely story basis, I'd recommend this novel pretty highly.

The bad:

As of chapter 203, the translation has become garbage-tier trash. Singulars are frequently converted to plurals (Evil God to Evil Gods, himself to themselves, they instead of it), people's names are in quotes for no reason ("Unlike the elder 'Qu Zhuang', 'Liao An' was not very old"), lots of translations are blatantly wrong ("Do you know what you're talking about, leader?" (antagonistic) instead of "What are you talking about, leader?" (curious)), plus the usual sentence fragments, weird grammar, long-ass repeated phrases (seeing "the ten great mountain beast kings" ten times in ten sentences), and so on that you always get in low quality MTL edits.

It's up to you whether you can stomach the horrific translation quality. I no longer can.

Rating: 4.5 for story, 2 for translation.
