A century after the Spirit Qi Awakening, the world enters a new era. Humans are able to absorb the world’s awakened spirit qi, allowing them to tread on a new path — spirit qi occupations!

Simultaneously, the plants and animals on the planet are also evolving toward their ancestry line or developing spiritual mutations.

Lin Yuan realizes that he can assist feys in evolving limitlessly and constantly purify their bloodlines. He starts off with a small fey evolution store on the Star Web and rises up from there.

Lin Yuan: «There is no problem that I cannot solve to deliver the goods. If there is a problem, it is because the goods are better than expectations!»

This is a story purely about pets! Collapse

I would recommend to not read this novel. I have read and dropped many trashy novels but none of them felt as time wasting as this. The main problem is the pacing. It was okayish in the beginning with the author kept mentioning some details which won't be useful beyond that particular chapter. I think it was fine as we can put it under world building. But as the chapters go on the useless details keep increasing. An example for this is during combat, the author mentions about all the abilities of a fey, he then mentions a lot of other possible powers of the fey. He then mentions how for the particular fey the abilities combo with each other and how the other feys of the cultivator work with each other. He then proceeds to end the battle in a few words.

The other major problems is the MC of the novel. Although i did not find him insufferable he still was bland. The whole character of the mc could be written as "righteous" and "warm". I did have a fair share of righteous mcs myself but here the mc has no other traits other than these two. The author tried to portray him as some saint and a hero but all that makes the mc to be bland and uninteresting. The mc fairly quickly attains a very strong identity. Our mc wants to be independent and completely ignores said identity but uses it whenever some plot convenience requires it. I could go on and on about how stupid the mc is but i will rest my case here.

Our mc here instead of becoming strong, tries to make his own faction and doesn't use his strong identity instead poses as a nobody and keeps getting trashed by random side characters. He maintains three identities and two factions and the novel goes through the development of each and every character and the factions stores in too mich detail. If only the mc uses his identity almost 70 percent of the novel would become redundant.

Wow this review is wrong on so many novels.

The main problem is the pacing. It was okayish in the beginning with the author kept mentioning some details which won't be useful beyond that particular chapter.

This story isn't a short story of a couple hunder chapters. Also you shouldn't compare this story with others where the author is pulling shit out of his ass. You mentioned the fact that the author mentions abilities that the fey could potentially get. This is important for two reasons. One reason is that he wants to show that the feys aren't a plot convinience tool. They are a living being of that world. Together with the second reason Feys are a major faction of the world they live in. As it is natural in a cultivation novel to iterate the various possible techniques or talents someone could have , it is important here to mention their possible abilities. These possible abilities don't come out of nowhere. They are closely related to the identity of the fey both as an individual and a whole race. These abilities give flavour to a fey. The combat example you gave is quite unfair for the novel. Almost every single fey in this novel has a core attack/defensive/support/healing ability. The rest of their abilities are centered around that ability or complement it where it is lacking. Atleast regarding his own feys every single ability they have is crucial for how they develop. If you also consider his philosophy of raising his feys in the best possible way , your point simply doesn't exist.

The other major problems is the MC of the novel. Although i did not find him insufferable he still was bland. The whole character of the mc could be written as "righteous" and "warm".

I disagree again. The MC is a reincarnated person. He was born in this new world and completely became a native of that world. He lived a life of suffering considering his parents died when he was still young. On top of that he was suffering due to his special constitution and "golden finger" (
). Despite all that he tried his best to raise his sister and gather money by operating a low level fey shop. Most of his money would go to medicine that allowed him to keep going and money on the side so his sister could contact a decent fey that would ensure her future. Him being kind and "righteous" comes from the fact that despite his situation he didn't lose hope. That said the more events he goes through the more his characters becomes more colorful. In the end I would describe him as a strong individual (mentally) that values those that do good to him. Don't mistake his kindness as weakness. When you betray him or hurt those that are close to him , he will retaliate ruthlessy.

He doesn't use his strong identity for a couple reasons. The most important reason is that his way of advancement is unique. He basically has to channel pure aura through a fey and help them advance ranks. Then he also has Morbius that he can't afford to leak his info to others. The last reason is that it is expected for heirs of major forces to raise their own faction. It isn't that he didn't want the help of his master. The problem is that help she could directly provide without being detrimental is quite limited. True he could stay locked in his master's manor and raise the ranks of 24/7 but his growth would be too limited. 99% of the stuff he has came from the adventures he went to. The store ? He started it even before he became a disciple of Moon Empress. It allowed him to gain resources quite fast. He came in contact with some unique treasures (like those dying feys that could be bought for cheap). His store worked as a prototype for his Sky City faction. The Sky City faction does't need to say much for it. It is only natural for an individual like him to raise a private faction. His three identities came to be for a couple reasons. He didn't want people harrassing him. Either as fans or maliciously. "Black" was for him to battle in the VR. He then had his Moon Empress disciple identity. Lastly he had the Master of Sky City identity. In some cases the identities merhing are okay or beneficial. Other times having them being different would be benefical as an ace. After some time his disciple identity and Black merged. Some people should also have made the connection of him to Sky City.

I should note that his master did provide him with resources. She gave him some of the most precious resources someone could give to a practitioner. Treasures to cleanse the soul (The most known rare treaures out there. Other factions or even 5 star creators have to beg to get those). She also gave him treasures twice to refine to an absurd level his physique. She gave him that talisman which stored an attack from her and could be recharged. That talisman was crucial for him. Then she allowed him to have one of the most important benefits. That is privacy. She ensured that his identities won't get leaked before he wants them so. He had made quite a few enemies in the Federation due to his meteoric rise. His enemies uniting would have a detrimental effect on his growth rate. She also provided him a chance to go to an another continent. There are a lot of benefits that she provided to him. You just have to think a little.

I believe you suffer from reading to much junk novels and expect others to be on their level. You should take a break and start appreciating more those novels that are truly well written.

You can give whatever reasons why "details" are important. But excessive details are always bad. If you give the complete details of a Fey which is boring to read, i atleast expect it to be used in the novel to some extent. But the feys part ends with the details. Its never used. Not even once. Also this is just in the beginning. In the future the novel doesn't even have that. It spews nonsense again and again just to increase word count. Whole chapters worth of content could be summarised in a line or two.

Also MC's character is bland. By your logic mc shouldn't be "reckless" and charge in whenever people are in trouble. After all his parents have passed away due to them being righteous. This lead to mc and his sister suffering a lot. Mc should atleast think about his sister while being righteous and throwing his life away.

Regarding the organisations, i don't hate that he has organizations. I hate how slow paced they make the novel. The author explains extremely in detail about each and every aspect of these organisations and their development plans. Not only is it boring, its also slows down the pacing to a crawl. There is also no reason to not use his background.

Regarding your insult i would say may be read those "good novels" before dubbing this novel as one. I can tell this isn't even close to one. I mean this doesn't even follow some of the basic rules of a good novel. Has too much exposition, 2 dimensional righteous main character, bro con 1 dimensional sister, etc. Sure it has better writing than most of those junk novels. But it's short comings make it much less worth reading than those "junk novels" that you speak of.

Not exactly. He just dotes on her due to her being his only family remaining. I also expected at the start to be some wincest but their relationship is quite pure. I even remember I started reading this due to that possiblity. After 2506 chapters and I can't possibly think of him having a romantic relationship with her.

its because their parent passes away when they were small and his sister have no memory of her parent at all, they are so poor, so his brother do anything he can to provide for his sister, that's why they have a really strong bond

Just don't read the synopsis. Inside the novel it is never mentioned that the awakening started 100 years before. Besides it is called awakeing. This means it existed , went to "sleep" and then awakened. Anyhow the story through various events implied that it existed at least for a couple hundred years. Maybe the synopsis meant 1000 years.
Minor Spoiler. The world goes through eras. So the awakening comes from that fact.

How annoying are your comments. Praise the book when it turned into garbage. 1. The Guardian, whose main task is to protect the Hero, just dumps for half an hour to see what is happening around when he knows that it is dangerous now and there is a myth nearby. 2. You call information rubbish the study of the world… what did you even read??? There, the same thing is mentioned 10-15 times, not to mention the chapters where the hero is praised simply for being the protagonist. 3. He won 100 duels in a row and he was added to some hall and allowed to participate in the selection of a hundred and a couple more goodies. When, logically, ANY person with golden pets who first entered the stairs could do the same. 4. The girl “just” gave the store to him, and the guy also gave the chamber of commerce simply because he is a hero, there are no other logical explanations, but what the author wrote trying to explain this is complete nonsense, it would be better if he said that they fell in love with the hero and decided to give him their property and that would be more logical. 5.6.7.8.9.10…. and a LOT more like this

      Bronze
      Silver
      Gold
      Platinum
      Diamond
      Suzerain *
      Sovereign **

      * A fey can evolve to suzerain-grade after its quality reaches Fantasy V

** A fey can evolve to sovereign-grade after its quality reaches Creation Breed

      Fey Qualities :
      Normal
      Elite
      Flawless
      Epic
      Legend
      Fantasy I - V *
      Myth I - III **

It's good novel but this novel have one fatal flaw.
Too much details. This novel can be written 3 times shorter without loosing anything. All events here 1 chapter long minimum and most times 3 chapter long. I'd say that 1000 chaps here have as much plot as other high quality novels has in 400 chaps.

Not really. If the author gave less details , it would seem like things happen out of nowhere. It's just that a new world needs at least this level of detail. A lot of low quality novels don't bother to go to that extent thus we have been missled to think that it isn't needed. The author is more like building a world while showing us the world through the side of Lin Yuan.

Author describe too much when he can give us some patterns so we can get same details between the lines. Smth like "show don't tell". Tell us rules and you won't have to justify every eye blink of your characters.
This one not "new world", just Earth with pet mod. Author barely change standard urban fantasy chinese setting and give us too few details about this changes. Pet system very described but useless, just bestiary.
And we have reverend insanity that show us real new world that work with "pets" without a part of Earth. RI in 1000 chaps explores almost half a world with half of cultivation system and give us hundreds of "pets". You basically feel as time flow and history writes. Here? Some dude sitting home all day and put his hands on pets that we never see again. Sometimes he fights.

Dude your reply shows how ignorant you are. At every arc we get to see something new. We get to see another facet of this world that the author is building. The fact that you claim that Lin Yuan sits home and just puts his hand on a fey is ridiculous. Like 90% of his time he spends outside adventuring. The only solide time that we get on scene him staying at home is at the start of the novel. At the start his body as well as his combat prowess was really low. Though when he breaches C rank to B rank he starts going outside more. Having the opposite would be completely absurd. How is a pleb supposed to fight with forces that have been around for hundreds or thousands of years ? That is completely dumb. Most novels are dumb for having their mc while being a complete noob fighting such forces. To have a very convenient MMORPG start in a normal world is so rare that you might not even consider it.

Just because you read only a fraction of this novel you don't have the capital to judge how the rest of the story goes. The author started this novel with an established plan and has been able to give us details for all the important things. Even the multiple abilities a fey can choose from is an important part of the world building. Just because you think the opposite doesn't mean its true.

i was read 1070 chapters of this one. I was read this novel not so long ago and i read first about 500 chapters year or more ago. If i don't remember his adventures several months after reading, it's mean this adventures never happened because author can't do his work of "telling intresting story".
