My name is Qi Yuan, a transmigrator who became the senior brother of the Seven-Colored Peak.

I have a game jade slip that can access the heavens.

My eyes can see hidden information.

[This is an ordinary blade of grass, but three days ago, True Lord Kumu and the Queen of Shang had a secret meeting here.]

[Her name is Ruan Yixi, she appears to be your beautiful master, but she might actually be your wife.]

[This is the Heavenly Dao of the world, the best spiritual item for Foundation Establishment.]

[This is a planet without life, maybe you can refine it into your Golden Core.]

Thus, my path of cultivation started becoming strange.

“Heavenly Dao? Isn’t this the spiritual item for Foundation Establishment?”

“So many desolate planets, let’s refine them all into Golden Cores!”

Using the Heavenly Dao for Foundation Establishment, refining stars into Golden Cores.

My name is Qi Yuan, the origin of all things!

My name is Jiang Lingsu, I joined the Seven-Colored Peak with ulterior motives. My senior brother has a problem with his head.

He is irresponsible, dislikes cultivation, and is addicted to simulation games.

Senior brother said, “Games are cultivation, games can also create worlds.”

One day, an extra sun appeared in the sky.

I asked senior brother, what is that?

Senior brother said, “That’s my Golden Core!” Collapse

Up to the current chapter (469) and gotta say, this is some good stuff. Quite odd MC that has a pretty good sense of humor. The author pulls some nice writing shenanigans in the first 200 chapters with time travel and whatnot(which I absolutely loved). Other than that, writing is quite good too, much better than more Chinese cultivation slop. Decent character/world building, power scaling is quite good, and the female leads arent absurdly weak.
Translation stays pretty stable throughout, with a few dips here and there resulting in different names for places/chars/whatnot for a few chapters but then it goes back to normal.
    Overall rating, 4/5

Maybe ive just read too much MTL slop, so if there was any other translation issues I didn't notice...

Immensely funny. If this novel hasn't made you laugh, wait until you meet Great Wisdom True Monarch. If by then you still haven't found this novel funny, you can scold me and downvote my comment.

I read this a month or 2 ago on a MTL site and the MC is just not my type, the comedy too. I’m honestly surprised by how many people like it because of how oblivious the MC is. I think it would be so much better if this was 1 of those smart MCs who act low-key and all and not arrogant, but when a situation arises where he needs to show his strength, it just creates epic heavenly phenomenons(which honestly I was expecting from reading the synopsis) and then everyone is just in awe and disbelief. I guess a large part of why I dislike this novel is due to the expectations I had coming into it and maybe the MTL translations played a small part too.

I enjoyed it more then i expected. I would give it a 3.7/5 it gets better the more you have read other cultivation novels.

The novel is basically if i had a mc that is not good in his head and finds some impossible cultivation methods that everyone calls impossible... he cultivates them successfully...

But now he has no clue how strong he is so he gets wrong information and then thinks someone is very strong while his aura makes it impossible for them to move.

The story itself is actually very well constructed.

The chapters are longer then most novels.

The thing i didn't like that much is best explained in if you watch a comedy and the jokes have the same kind of "tune" it is funny for the first 2 hours but then it kinda gets stale. This happened for me at chapter 450 but i read the entire 460 or so available chapters in 2 days so it is not a big negative?

Another is that the translation could be better. It takes away 0,3 points for me.

Read till 195. Couldn't continue. The mc starts acting like a young master for real and not a parody of it. Till the previous arc he was just autistic now you could say that he embraced the role he was playing. Everything just goes his way without reason.
Till the previous qrc it was DAMN ENJOYABLE. But the author forgot the role the mc was supposed to be playing imo.

i will humbly disagree, the author is slowly peeling back the layers of onion that is the mc.

im 240 chapters in and i have to say it is one of THE funniest novel i ever read,
dont worry about the translation at all, those of us who have achieved the dao of mtl , it is at worst , the foundation establishment level in this novel.

no where near the purple mansion realm novels that goes on the dark side of the novel industry here !

so dont worry and dive in fellow daoists, it is not poison

Two cultivators whose grandfather was taller are arguing: - My grandfather was as tall as this tree! - And my grandfather was as tall as that mountain over there! — My grandfather was so tall that he reached the stars! — Were the stars round? - Round. - Warm? - Yes. - So these were my grandfather's ball's! (Qi Yuan and his Cores came to mind at the time of chapter 264) It would be epic to smash these dudes from the upper world not with star golden cores, but with balls. It would be a spectacle...

Currently At Chapter 315. The first 250+ chapters actually not too bad. After that point its drops off a bit about 275 starting the 4th arc as I would say. Once here its been a struggle to keep reading, 95% boring content 4% progression, and 1% OP protagonist moments. The pacing was actually pretty good for the first arcs, but it just feel through a hole on the 4th, and all the "logic" being built though the novel just kinda implodes. By this point its feeling more like a pokemon gotta catch em all type of novel, where MC learns every possible path in existence on top of his typical OP foundations.

yeah the 4th arc is so annoying, the plot is all over the place, the bad translation makes everything even more difficult to understand
the plot is so slow with a lot of waste chapters, they provide 0 value
tbh if i didn´t have anything to read right now i would have dropped this already
the fact that he learns martial arts is even more nonsensical, didn´t he said that all paths lead to the same destination? why should he learn the other path?
the firs 70 chapters could have been resumed in 15 chapters and we would have wasted less time
