Versatile Superstar: Rise In Hollywood by DreamThree

The author has integrated the idea of western showbiz with realistic progression which is what kept me wanting to read more of this work. Though, I should warn you that this may not be of your liking as it focuses more on slice of life, using it to direct the progression. I for one am a fan of modern setting with business management/talent development which is why I absolutely love this book. The quality of writing is great devoid of any obvious errors and character interactions are not so rigid making it a great read, especially since the songs, movies and other media in this work are all original, making each one a fun surprise.

It is a good showbiz novel but definitely inspired from the two novels which I just read before this novel: God of Cooking and God of Music. There are just so many similarities in the novel related to them. If you like this novel, do check them out as well :)

For some reason Webnovel has been uploading good novels lately(At least I like it. It may be different for some people though).

Or at least the novels being uploaded is not below average. And not just plots being used over and over again. For example: young masters show up > mc gets underestimated > mc > faceslapping them. Or at least what I've seen so far.

Currently caught up with the novel, chap 77. This novel is a pretty good showbiz novel and I can see some great potential once it's a bit longer and we see more of the versatile thing, as long as it doesn't go to the realm of ridiculousness like IRAS, cause this novel ain't cut for that kind of comedy as of yet. I'm looking forward to seeing Aiden(the mc) delve into TV shows, theater, more music, and many types of movies. Honestly don't think the changes to names was necessary but I guess it's all to avoid copyright so it's ok. The music sections are literally all instant skips for me though, since it's "original" I can't get a feel of how the song would sound as the novel isn't that descriptive about it, and these original songs just sound goofy when reading the lyrics. I'd like to see more about Aiden's past and his reasoning for why he wanted to be an actor in the first place, as right now we're just dropped in. I can't say much about story as it's sort of a loose narrative at this point, we're just seeing Aiden starting so long plot points, relationships, anything aren't developed yet but around 200-250 chapters in if there still isn't much in that department then something isn't right. For these starting chapters they're a good 7-7.5/10 it should be more interesting in the future
