It's a great novel. I would recommend you read this.

But for me the only downside was LUKE not having any awesome kind of superpowers while the people he is fighting have what feels like great superpowers.

But still it's fun to read.

I found this one surprisingly good. Normally, I don't enjoy Parody novels since it seems like the Author tries to force the MC into the plot or just completely destroy the significance of the original MC. This one actually connects multiple plots in a way that they would legitimately make sense.

There is also a lot of movie parodies in this. It's to the point where what you think is an original plot is actually some lesser known movie that released in 2006 or something. It could also be a movie from a completely different country that you wouldn't have heard of normally. I actually really like this since it feels great whenever you get a reference that most people probably wouldn't(it also is good for recommending films to watch).

Another thing I like is the Harem in this. Whether Harem is your thing or not I like the fact that, from what I have read, the Harem members seem to be all original characters. It could be I just don't know what movie they are from yet, but at least it isn't doing the normal novel thing where people like Natasha Romanoff are instantly falling for the MC.

If it was MC OP, I would love to read it, but actually I don't like detective novels at all. That's why I read up to the 500th chapter.

Also the story is great developed despite the fact that the author mixes an incredible amount of movies, television series and many other things in his story. Everything unfolds smoothly and with hardly any problems and when the Batman arc started it was wonderful, it totally grabs you. I recommend this if you want a Chinese novel that brings you something new and fun, good luck and good reading

the famous characters in this novel does not behave like they would have been, instead they think and act like chinese characters.

I'm on chapter 383 right now. However, according to the chapters I've read so far, this novel should be called Justice System, instead of Super Detective System, since there is no super smart case solving procedure as you would expect from a novel about a detective.

So far I haven't seen Luke acting as you would expect from a super detective. When I started reading the novel, I was expecting something more like sherlock holmes.

Sure he solves cases, but basically he doesn't use "detective skills".

Also, the system doesn't reward him for solving cases as a detective, it rewards him for doing justice, whenever he stops any crime, no matter what kind, a robbery, when Luke gives tickets to a wrongly parked car, when he intervenes in fights or arguments and, of course, when he solves cases....

So more than a detective system, it's more like a justice system, since I don't see that the MC has become a detective at all... I'm not sure I explained my point well enough.

It's a good read. My only problem is too much coincidence happening around him. First time on plane hijacked ,making out with a girl terrorist attack. It's like crime follow him.
