Can anyone reccomend me more really good/decent fanfics like this?

Idk if this novel is any good or if it deserves a 4.4 rating, but 1 year ago when I found it in the wild and now seeing it again in this site I just can't read when even before we hit 10 chapters the MC says this: Luke sighed, lowered the seat so that he could sit in a more comfortable position, then said, “There’s a saying that a job is like rape: If you can’t resist it, you might as well shut your eyes and enjoy it.” I'm out, have fun

I already gave my review of this, but I just saw a Chinese fanfic where the mc adds his harem to black widow and god THANK YOU to the author for not doing something so f#cking cringe, it's a power fantasy but not a ridiculous self-insertion story where all women regardless of their personality fall in love with the mc and would give up everything for him. SERIOUSLY THANKS.

A rather surprising fanfiction, which will not please everyone given its length. Let's start with what I found positive :

Positive :

1- A successful mix of several universes. If the world of Marvel is the largest in this fanfiction, it is in fact mixed with the worlds of countless films (Die Hard, The Mist, Freddy Krueger, John Wick, ... and many others). The author managed to mix all these universes in a fluid way, without there being any illogical collision between them and by making them interact with each other without problem. A feat that we must give to our writer.

2- An MC who gets by thanks to his caution. In general when a protagonist has no difficulty during a story, it is often done in an awkward way. It feels like the whole world is helping him, so we're talking about a plot conspiracy. It's frowned upon because it breaks the immersion of a story by making us realize that the MC didn't succeed because of his abilities, but because the author helped him. But it is not the case here. Yes, the MC doesn't have any real difficulty in this novel, but that's because he has the ability, the caution, the foresight, and the tools to pull through. At no time did I feel that the author was helping his protagonist.

3- Secondary characters not forgotten. Indeed the other characters of the novel have their place to play, they are not left behind and will accompany the MC throughout his adventure. They are rather well developed and actively participate in the story.

All of these good things make the story interesting to read, despite a few negative points that I will list below. Understand that this is only my view of things, you can very well discover the story for yourself and form your own opinion.

Negative :

1- A boring system. The MC cheat is flat, in fact it is a system that gives abilities to the protagonist and allows him to raise his physical and mental characteristics. He will be able to copy the abilities of the characters he defeats or who his friends with him (whether in a fight or a game) provided that his body can adapt to them in a logical way (No magic, elemental mutations or other , only physical and mental powers are accepted, as well as skills or knowledge such as Tony Stark's technological knowledge, or the shooting ability of a mercenary).

And that's the first annoying point, the MC has nothing but that kind of low key abilities in the whole story, no magic, elemental mutation, only normal human skills and degraded physical and mental mutation by his system. Moreover, the System does not offer anything interesting, it has no personality, does not give cool or nice abilities, no quests, just a boring system which allows you to increase 4 characteristics at each level (Strength, endurance, agility and mental), to differentiate the innocent and the guilty, to copy certain capacities, to have several inventories, to have clones (which divides the power of the MC according to their number) and... that's all.

Some might like this kind of boring system, but personally I find it just flat. Note that I do not criticize the system because it does not make its MC overpowered, but because there is nothing original or fun about it.

2- A too generic MC. The protagonist takes it all too easily, although the fact that he doesn't struggle makes sense in the story, it doesn't make him any less boring. No risk for the MC destroys half the stakes for this one. At no time was I afraid for the protagonist or for those close to him, at no time was I afraid that the MC would fail in his objectives. Everything is done too easily.

The MC has no known identities. Indeed, the MC changes identity all the time, seeing this gets rid of the best known, and his ability to clone does not help. I don't know how to put it in words but the fact that the MC doesn't have fixed identities and doesn't show all of his ability until the very end makes him...too distant from others and too versatile. We have the impression that there is a filter between the MC and the other characters.

We constantly want the world to recognize the MC for his abilities, but that never happens.

3- A story with a bad rhythm. Indeed, for a story to be interesting, the events and moments of calm must be well distributed (Example: Combat ==> training ==> investigation ==> kingdom management ==> army battle == > technological improvement ==>....), the fact of alternating between the important events which move the story forward and the quieter moments when the MC and his friends develop, that's what I call the rhythm of a story.

But alternating is not enough, you also have to be careful that neither one nor the other is too long, otherwise you end up getting bored. And that's one of the problems with this story, the moments of calm are too long. Sometimes you have to wait several hundred chapters before there is a really important event.

Conclusion :

A well-constructed fanfiction universe, an MC carrying his own abilities and accompanied by well-developed and useful characters. All in a story with a slow pace where the MC plays in easy mode, equipped with an uninteresting system, with the impression that the protagonist does not really fit into this new world and the person close to him.

Despite everything it is a fanfiction that I recommend to you, it is worth the detour enough if you despite it is some flaws.

Finished novel, I really enjoyed this, I read it from time to time two chapters a day and it's really good. I even reread it several times until I caught up with the new chapters, but Now that it's over I really feel very satisfied, a good ending, maybe the battle was a bit short but considering that the MC prepared for decades to kick the final boss's ass It was satisfying and not rushed at all, I really love the MC's personality, he's like Batman but without all the self-righteous bullshit that makes you want to beat him up, come on, if the MC will meet The Joker would put a bullet through his head at the first opportunity, not whine about the corpses that maniac would no doubt create. Seriously, when he compared this MC to Batman he preferred the MC, And I think that is a very positive point with a fanfic

author messing up adding marvel verse...it takes a long time n hugh amount of points jxt to level up an average ability let alone godly ones😑

Do you remember the police series, where they solve a case by chapters and each season there is a hidden plot that is resolved in 3 or four final chapters? and for some reason, no Does it matter how much you watch the episodes again, is it ALWAYS entertaining? never bored? Well, this novel has a very similar structure, the MC solves small plots that while leveling up and Acquire new skills and this takes time, as leveling up is damn slow, but it doesn't get boring at all, it's even nice to see such a slow progression because the MC You need to use your ingenuity to figure things out, not just your system skills and every now and then one plot connects to another or directly to the plot we already know from the MCU, In summary, a long, entertaining novel, very good in my opinion and worth it, despite being a Chinese novel there are no clichés except for small things that do not bother , you really forget that it is a Chinese novel, I highly recommend it
