tbh I initially dropped this 30 or so chapters in because the MC just seemed destined to be an insufferable arrogant prick, but after reading further that attitude becomes much more entertaining as he starts to genuinely care for his new wives and comes up with ludicrously elaborate plans (alongside his equally common sense-bereft subordinates) to trick them into doing what he wants willingly instead of just being an asshole and forcing them to follow his orders like he did at the start. It's worth noting that his newfound "softness" extends only to his new immediate family and he maintains his indifferent arrogance towards literally everyone else.
