There's a shit ton of face-slapping here, but somehow it's not as annoying as in other novels, and is even quite funny. I think it's because 95% of the people who get face-slapped are just random people who aren't enemies with the mc, so there's no "five chapters of man saying how great he is and how shit the mc is just to get f#cked by the mc". He'll just come along to take a test without knowing anything or something, the receptionist would advise against it because he obviously knows nothing, and then he'll absolutely shit on every record that's ever existed and possibly destroy the building as well, leaving the receptionist crying in the corner with her whole worldview shattered and the guildmaster pucking liters of blood...
Also, cultivation is super f#cking slow in that world because there is no such thing as a complete heritage due to war, but his ability allows him to fuse incomplete cultivation techniques, battle arts, formation techniques etc... into their most perfect form, so he can rise one whole major realm in like an hour, but it's super energy demanding, so instead of spending most of his time cultivating, he spends most of it looking for spirit stones

Same for me. Not sure if I want to reread it for the 3rd time to see it with new eyes, but from what I remember, at least the comedy was really good

This novel was a waste of concept,with little action

Can't the author had made MC's overtheworld smartness along with overconfident in moderation.
He can sometime think it's dangerous to expose ability next time in simple question he includes how many pills and grade had been made in random cauldron till now in exact number . Even though he is transmigrated but there should common sense in him.

Are Chinese people this stupid and unwilling to take even a second to explain something?

If you want some serious amount of face slapping exactly right after the most powerful people try to belittle, suppress, destroy or humiliate the MC. Zhang Xuan just gives them that just after they have said their words.

About MC
The MC is someone who keeps on growing with rocket speed, he doesn't ask from higher and more powerful people to give him something, he earns that on his own. He has no limits for what he can achieve and do. He will find new ways to achieve things. He do things in smallest time which people can't even reach in thousands of years and creates legends. He has a smart and serious character and creates trouble for his lack of common sense but resolves them while making it better than before. He makes supportors rather than enemies in his path for greatness.

The world will be more exposed and grow with MC growing in power. The theme is light hearted and filled with humour. Its best if you want to release stress. There are lots of epic moments. Its a beautiful story with a lot of comedy and humour with added original story development by author.

The MC creates legends to be passed for generations to come for thousands of years. Story also contains good amount of seriousness which help us experience other emotions like teacher-student relationship, friendship, loyalty, parental love, respect for ancestors. Main theme of story is student teacher relationship and later on different emotions which makes us human. There are also good amount of mysteries to keep track and remain interested which don't take forever to just move single step.

The other characters in story also provide support for our MC. They just don't keep on passively taking, they provide MC with info, precious things and helps him in return for doing them good. The students are also diligent
