The Path of Ascension by C_Mantis

1) He knows very little about the world around him. There is a clear lack of information. But he spends his time on friendly gatherings and sex for "mood".
2) The protagonist doesn't try to make the most of his situation. Even at the training base, he acts "like everyone else." I never could figure out why. If he is able to clear the first level rift in 30 minutes with virtually no risk to himself (armor and infinite mana) - why did he only go through once every three days? Why not 2-3 daily or at least every day?
3) The main character goes to a training planet where he has no friends or allies. The protagonist knows that information about his skills and talents must be kept secret. And what does he do immediately after arriving? I didn't doubt it! He immediately tells an outsider about his talents for ridiculous gain. Well done boy, the Darwin award is waiting for you, I thought.
4) The end of my attempts to read this novel came in chapter 19. In this chapter, the protagonist simply threw away his ability to achieve strength.
It all started with the fact that the main character fought with a girl for a reward. Then, as a result of certain events, they temporarily united. When the time came to part, the main character abruptly decided that the huge reward that he had earned himself, without anyone's help, should be shared with a temporary companion.
He had a choice. He could try using that item on his pet. He could sell it and secure steady and stable growth for decades to come. Eliminate all your shortcomings, get everything you need.
But instead, he decided to use it on a girl. Why? Because she is a girl! Everything, finita.

This is not what I expected from a guy who grew up in an orphanage.
This is not what I expected from a guy who cleaned toilets for pennies.
I didn’t expect this from a guy who once almost died because of his greed.
I didn’t expect this from a guy who constantly groans that strength is everything and he needs to become stronger.

This kind of storyline makes me really angry. This is enchanting stupidity and naivety. This is a complete mismatch of character, the surrounding world and prerequisites. I'd say it's pure fanservice.
