    Good novel butThe MC has a problem with his judgment why he always falls in love with a woman who calculates behind his back, whether it is his ex or lilith these women had or have a hidden agenda. The MC him at first I thought he had at least a bit of brain but at some point I ask him if the author is purposely doing stupid stuff and then I remembered a comment that said that you have to understand the pain of the MC and why he hated women after what his ex did to him uh... Sorry to tell you this but if someone insults me or hits me it will not make me hate humanity for all that well this is exactly what happens in this novel the MC has been betrayed by a woman so for him all women are demons who want to hurt him but lilith who is the most suspicious, it goes as she is not human wtf

The information she has given him is priceless and the path she guided him on made it easier for him because of her, and he is what he is now and have what he has now only because of Lilith.     This is one ofthe most well executed cliche I have read. Everything in this novel is just what you expect. The mc is the same than in 95% of novels. The story is almost the same as all the default Stories. The "mc overpowers way stronger enemies because he doesn't want to die for outhers" plot armour Bs. Is pulled here as well. There are also ice butty and mcs imaginary succubus friend. It doesn't really skip any cliches.
    But the writing and exicution is pretty good. So yes it is one of those reads where you not gonna be board but that's it.

    As a veteran Reader with years of experience in reading novels, I normally don't bother reviewing novels, But this novel had so much potential but sadly it was so awfully ruined by an incompetent author..
    First of all, which has been mentioned by my fellow readers, the absurd amount of fillers in this novel. Imagine describing the features of a character (which btw has been mentioned HUNDREDS OF TIMES in like 4 paraghraphs and then describing their expressions in another 3 paraghraphs. Yep, this happens ALMOST every chapter eyetwit. i believe that if we deleted 90% of the fillers these 650 chapters could be compressed to 250 or something and iam not joking. and when you complain to the this rude, sorry a*s example of an author he always reply with 'my chapter consists of 2000 words' what is the use of that when 1300 of them are fillers xD.
    Secondly, Seeking perfection. Yup, author is trying so hard to make a perfect story in all aspects. Which is not a bad thing honestly, and i actually commend him for that. but that can only be done by a top-tier, professional author not an amateur one. otherwise you would feel it's dragging out which is exactly what is happening in this novel. like imagine if this novel was in the hands of Er Gen, cuttlefish. with its potential, it could have been a true masterpiece.

        I havent read this book yet but I did read most of his other book before I got tired of it, along with the author because he dropped it. So with that said I can assure you the author is definitely not the #1 author on webnovel. While I will give him credit that the ideas he has for novels and the outline for it are interesting, the execution is done so poorly that I wasn't surprised that he dropped his other novel.

        Based off the comments it doesn't look like anything has changed with the amount of people talking about abundant fillers and the story dragging. With the story not even being a year old the author is just milking the chapters for $.

Listen well Xietan might as well be the most popular author in webnovel but that doesn't make him the best . What you really need to look out for is how good the book is . If he can't come up with a completely refreshing idea and play right into clichés then yes that does make him seem incompetent . Don't let his popularity cloud your judgement.                   I'd say EOC is way better.
                  Demonic sword did fall off for me in the upper realm arc but that was after like a thousand chapters, his chaos heir is also solid for the chapters I have read it.
                  Xietian novels always have a good start but they also fall off super fast.
                  This was one of my top novels, I go away for few weeks and boom no one likes it.

          I got to chapter 189 and I just have to say that this major boss fight of the arc was written so poorly that I just dropped the novel right there. The fight was fine right before the MC joined to save the day.

          The problem is that when reading a novel we have to use all of our imaginations to imagine how the fight is playing out based off of the description the author gives us. The MC's fight in these chapter was so nonsensical that I just gave up.
