Have you ever thought about having a cool system at your disposal? What would you do if you suddenly received a system that can help you achieve anything? Would you go save the innocents and damsels in distress or use it for your own advantage?

This is the story of a normal human (well, not very normal) who crossed over to another world with such a system under his command. But the question is, who’s controlling who? Is the system under his command or the other way around?

What was the origin of this system? Why did it choose him? What’s waiting for him in the future? A hero is only as good as his villain? So who is the villain for our hero? Lots of questions right?

Jump right into the book and see the answers for yourselves. Collapse

Read 27 chaps and the novel seems pretty mediocre. The writing is good, but the plot is meeh. The author merged system, magic, medieval, cultivation and isekai and everything is kind of basic. If you're expecting some mega plot, logical things, cold mc, so far there's none of it. The MC is "badass" as the name say, but he's also kinda childish. I think this is my first novel with the genre "Face Slapping Young Masters", and honestly, it's happening way too often for just 27 chapters. The story doesn't feel neither looks deep too.

Hey readers, Currently at chapter 967, so I thought id give a review for everyone who's thinking of reading it.
    One word

    Another word

    The good part:
Honestly, the book is good, especially in the beginning chapters. The author introduces a really good story, with good characters and a nice well thought background for each. Even a lot of the minor characters have some really nice background stories, such as
. The MC has a nice OP system and a good head on his shoulders. Story development 6/10.

    The bad part:
The book starts going downhill in the later chapters. The author really begins to push for characters that make no sense in being revealed at that point in the book and have no significance such as
. The chapters shorten drastically. And the majority are filler chapters. You could literally read the chapter title and you'd be done with the chapter. Especially
. The majority of it is skippable. The MC also begins to make some dumb decisions like

    Overall;
It's a good book to read if you are someone who tends to drop books midway hence
. If you like the long reads,

    5/10

Some parts are very cringe. I wish the author had paid a little more attention to the dialogues between the characters. But its not bad, I couldnt find a decent novel for a long time, it filled the hunger

I actually really like this novel but it has ups and downs. You'll notice an astounding level of unfounded hypocrisy which is one of its biggest issue, but aside from that I like how the author teases the future and the prophecies adding spice when it sometimes gets bland. Im also glad that the mc isn;t over the top edgy and if your like me and you like an antihero protagonist you'll find some enjoyment in this. Over all 4.3/5 for me.

    - Honestly it is a good concept and idea of a system. But I can't get past how the MC acts. I know his soul merged with the kid so his personality changed. But it changed way too much. It seems more like the kid got the memories of the Hitman, not the other way around.
    - His arrogance is annoying too. I love a good Arrogant character, but this is more like a 12-year-old on Xbox Live kind of cocky.
    - There is also a lot of cringy stuff too. And not in a good way.

you'd be surprised at the adult people I know who act like children even though they're getting a little older.

But you're right about it being a drastic change, although I think it was because of that soul bonding.

The arrogance I think is fine, I mean, if it wasn't, and he was trying to go unnoticed he would fall into the "simple bug" category where some random big family guy bumps into him and makes a big deal out of it.

sometimes this novel doesn't make sense, it's obvious author is an amateur, but at least it looks like he works hard to improve it in other aspects, props

Everything is fine and dandy in the story until aurthor completly forces a whole arc for no reason...

Next part wont rly spoil anything, just me ranting for a bit.

Now this next part will be spoiler, unlike the last one so be warned!

Could it be that the Ghost and the Dark Lord because of the system or he and the reincarnation of the Dark Lord, since there was already one that was defeated, it also shows at the beginning that the system was of an "Alpha" in the prologue
