Hero Zhang Han was frustrated in life originally, but he stepped into the Cultivation World by a stroke of luck. Possessing divine natural gifts, he ascended into the disaster-crossing period step by step. He had imagined his life would not have any hardships anymore, but unfortunately incurred the god thunder since he violated the fate. After he woke up, he was surprised to find that he was reborn, going back a few years ago. He found that the world was different from what it used to be after his rebirth and he had a lovely daughter.

Zhang Han’s fate thus underwent a huge transformation. In the fast-paced urban life, he opened up a place for his daughter to have fun. Because of his daughter’s enthusiasm for food, he opened a restaurant, which attracted countless diners. His business was booming and money did roll in. In his spare time, he also wrote songs to earn extra income. At the same time, he performed a sweet love story with his daughter’s mother…

After his rebirth, he became a godly stay-home dad in the accumulation of experience. «Dote on my daughter and love my daughter» became his life creed. Although a few nasty guys occasionally appeared in his life, they were all beaten off by virtue of his mightiness.

Let’s take a look at how this godly stay-home dad lived in the city and how Zhang Han led his happy life. Collapse

that one kid of zhang hans friend really irks me. dumb kid as he may be but constant disrespecting of another races culture and frisking every girls hands is a sure way to get impaled via ceremonial dagger.

But atleast this novel didnt bloody introduce a cthulu in a sliceoflife genre, like a certain very similar novel... and he makes eveyone and his daughter eat it too what the xxxx (A Stay-at-home Dad’s Restaurant In An Alternate World)

So at least properly appreciate a novel not just nitpick that single stuff you dont especially like and make it seem to everyone the novel is trashy as a whole. You even enjoyed it right?

sometimes it just takes 1 issue to ruin the whole. a gentle loving father in a slice of life then/// feed evil fish of death to his daughter.. A trustworthy childhood friend// then they staB your back and burn your house. A fate happy sweet romance novel// until the mc starts luring more harem members and rape rape. lol you get the idea~~

more importantly, i think you could just grow up and accept there are opinions you dont agree with. Which shoukd be ok as well.

This will be a semi-casual review: (Currently at Ch. 800)

It's ridiculous to think that of the dozens of "Reincarnated Immortal" cultivation novels I read, the book with the most realistic MC is the slice-of-life novel. Our MC Zhang Han is cold, cruel, and practical, making intelligent decisions, has realistic expectations of his current strength, and isn't generally protected by his plot Armor. In reality, this is just a small part of the book because when he's with his daughter and wife he's just a loving, caring, slightly too doting dad and husband.

I will admit that the writing in this novel isn't groundbreaking and the translation quality can dip from time to time, especially this string of like 15 chapters towards the beginning, but it's worth the read. It's funny, sweet, and has a pretty solid story overall. Fight scenes are mediocre and the cultivation is a mess with mistranslated realms, but still competent enough not to completely turn off the readers.

Overall I'd give it a soft 7.5/10, a great read but nowhere near a masterpiece.

Good shit, worth a read, too bad their are 500 chapters to go before completion, anw. Just google translate it.
I like the slice of life part, but then on the later 1000 chapters it turns into a cultivation novel with years of timeskip. The good thing about this novel is not a loner mc with lovers or harem as part of the journey, he is loyal and also loving to his family and whereever he goes he brings them all, their are some separations but it doesnt last that long, 1-2 weeks lols.
Some bad part is that, this novel have many characters, and sometimes they just became add-ons on the family travel, well this happened on 1000+ chapters since it focus on cultivation unlike on the earlier in which the mc just breakthrough if he wants too and as much as possible he dont,
Kind of teary ending tho, atleast it have an afterstory

        Short answer yes
Long answer Yes but you many I think will cry, in the main story but you can get your happy ending in the after story btw. I'm not sure if the author is the one who created it, but the after story is canon to the story

I liked it more when it was more focused on parenting. Now it's just another kinda generic cultivation novel sigh

Well at least he hasn't abandoned his wife and daughter, so I guess that's a plus point.

Yeah pretty much everything he does revolves around the two of them and he basically never leaves the side of either one for an extended period of time, so I'd say even with all the cultivation world stuff it still stays very much on-theme.
