【A new work from the author of 'Supremacy Games'!】

In 2030, humanity faced its first true collapse…not by war, but by the sudden invasion of Nightcrawlers, creatures emerging from darkness itself with the desire to devour sunlight at all cost for their evolution.

But, they could not absorb it directly since it was as deadly to them as to a shadow under the noonday sun. They could only absorb the sunlight from lifeforms or through signing a nocturnal contract to possess their bodies, providing them with direct sunlight immunity.

Within twelve hours, over four billion people perished as Earth was split between eternal night and day.

Just as extinction loomed, Holy Light Pillars descended from the heavens, purging one thousand cities from Nightcrawlers and offering humanity sanctuary under their divine light.

A century later, in the Heliodor Region, an innocent child found his world turned upside down after two mysterious nightcrawlers invaded his home, slaughtered his parents, and ripped his eyes out of their sockets, leaving him permanently connected to the Shadow Dimension, the home ground of Nightcrawlers.

Was it just a random feeding session for them, a planned assassination, or it goes deeper than this?

Follow Levi’s journey as he weaves between darkness and light, chasing the truth hidden in both. Collapse

The story is good no over the top bs it is progressing a bit like SG but cant blame the author he only applied some concepts to make the plot more consistent the power systems is vastly different with excellent curve in growth of the Mc
There is glazing but which novels don't as for the comments being same as SG no it is different it shares some concepts
Anyway if you read with an open mind the book is good
If you don't like them I cant do anything about it
My rating for the book is 4.4/5

I can't even ignore it anymore, this has so many concepts of Supremacy Games, with the elders being awakened and living in his soul, same thing is literally happening here
But it is fun to read. I just hope it won't fall off like SG

    Read until ch83

It's pretty ass. The MC gets glazed every chapter, every 2-3 paragraphs at least once it's mentioned how remarkable the MC (forgot his name, just says how forgetful his character is) is. His journey on paper is hard but at the same time the story paves the way perfectly for him to shine. Just boring.
Also the humor... is deplorable at best, maybe if I was ten years old I would have enjoyed it.
The world building is interesting though; so there is that but not enough to be a hook.
