Honestly, I’m getting tired of not having any decent novel to read, most of my current novels are all on saving mode and it would be probably only until at least at the end of next year, around this same period of time that I would pick them back up to read again. I guess, I have to seriously keep on learning my HSK lessons and take it to another whole level, so that I won’t need to wait either for the released translations or jump into the MTL Pathway.

There are a lot of chinese novels out there like Emperor’s Domination, Reverend Insanity, Lord of the Mysteries, Negary, My Longevity Simulation, etc... that have absolute godlike contexts and storylines but their real source and exquisite values got very diluted through the “translations” process which is quite a shame in itself. I would have to say that It’s truly a pity.

Only when you are able to truly understand the true chinese language at the “native” level and not just the basic fundamental textbook mandarin, only until then will you probably appreciate these masterpieces even further..

Take this for example, It’s like the difference between playing « Black Myth: Wukong » in (Chinese Dub with Chinese Subs) vs. (English Dub with English Subs). Both gameplays are good regardless, but the original source is where the real masterpiece would show its true glory and colorful splendor, full of wonders in complete form. Meanwhile, those chinese novels that are considered masterpieces has a lot of contexts full of intricacies, nuances and deeply linked sources weaving together, which thoroughly formed an immense foundational complexity structure as their main basis layout that only those people who can fluently speak, read and understand the chinese language at the proficiency level of “real native” would able to truly appreciate the true framework value of these great works and comprehend its hidden deep meanings and exquisite detailed constitutions.

Last but not least, what the hell is wrong with Wuxiaworld lately? Something’s really wrong with them, it seems as if they lost their mind as they keep on choosing either mediocre novels or straight up trashes taken out from the dumpster and translate them. Meanwhile, great novels like My Longevity Simulation seems to not get their attention whatsoever despite how much hype and ruckus this novel has been causing in the novel forum discussions. It’s such a no brainer to pick up these masterpieces like Negary or My Longevity Simulation and translate them.

Firstly, all readers would be more than happy to promote the “official” translations for free. And secondly, I thought blood sucker companies like Wuxiaworld and Webnovel would probably be more than happy to want more of their readers to buy more passes, karmas and subscriptions right? Which would greatly boost their earnings and net income in returns right? Then why don’t they just choose these masterpieces to translate if their sole purpose was to make shit tons of money? And oh... by translating, I mean “real translation” and not those trash translations from the numerical demons and splitting chapters bloodsuckers.

Just look at what happened when a masterpiece like Past Life Returner which get officially translated and treated correctly with great amount of care from a proper translator who actually has the passion and drive to translate this great novel seriously from the very beginning until the end. This situation lead this novel to get exploded even further in terms of popularity despite being already somewhat decently popular with the unofficial translations before the official translation came into play.

In fact, if Wuxiaworld had actually taken more serious and careful considerations from the opinions of most experienced readers like myself when it comes to the decisions on choosing which great novels to be translate next on their website; and trust me, we, the experienced readers would all be more than happy to spend money to read on Wuxiaworld if they have high quality novels with good translations for us to read. But somehow, these last few novels that were officially translated on their website, it’s full of shits and brainrots. After Kaokao Entertainment bought Wuxiaworld, the whole entire company transitioned into translating mostly trash korean novels as the majority part of their available contents, which are full of braindeads and rarely even pick up good chinese novels like they did in the past. Yes, they do pick up a few chinese novels here and there, but real masterpieces? It’s far and few between as rare as Qilin horn, despite we the readers keep on recommending masterpieces to them nonstop.

Man, if only I have enough resources to do all of these shits myself and find a group of reliable people to work together and create a company that will tackle this great hurdle for the readers who are greatly addicted at reading like myself, we would be probably making banks and laugh ourselves to sleep every night, no longer need to worry about not having enough money to feed ourselves and our family.

In short, I’m pissed off since all of these problems stemmed solely from the fact that I myself can’t truly read, speak and understand mandarin at the proficiency level of “chinese native” yet. Once I improve my mandarin, I will kiss goodbye to my current desolate mood of not having anything to read. And I probably would no longer care whether which novels will get translated or not. I’m just gonna read straight up from the real source from then on. But until then, I guess I have to swallow the bitter pill and endure a while longer for now. I should have learned chinese more seriously back in school. Well, I guess this is the exact karma scenario of what happened when “you f*ck around and found out about it later on” type of shitty situation. Instead, I was uselessly f*cking around like a complete idiot, addicted to video games! Who would have thought that one day, I would found myself actually get addicted to reading literatures compared to my past-self who was a League of Legends’ addict maniac! I truly shamed my old chinese ancestors’ faces jeez.... I guess, I have to go to Chinatown more often now and talk to the locals and old people regularly to practice my chinese.
