MTL is actually better than this dog translator (unironically)

I've looked for settings in deep oceans full of monsters, adventure far beyonds the stars, stories of kingdoms rise and fall, and the making of numerous almighty. Yet, there's one genre that I've never, for the life of me, manage to sit through the first volume due to the pacing being so excruciatingly slow, which is slice-of-life. Fortunately this one doesn't have it and, I heard, the pace picks up after ch. 30.

So I'll try it out after I caught up with the other novel.

Terrible translation. I'll go into detail on why, since my comment applies to more than 90% of translations today, including practically every translation from that cancerous site Webnovel.

One massive problem with recent MTL (using things like ChatGPT) is that the basic English quality is fairly solid, but because there's no memory of earlier chapters, the terms are constantly changing from chapter to chapter.

This means chapter 1 is usually perfect, so you think the translation's great. There might not be any key terms in early chapters, either, so the translation can stay fine for up to dozens of chapters, depending on the novel. Comments from people praising the translation quality of novels like this are usually from people who only read these early chapters.

Eventually, however, terms start showing up. You get more and more cultivation realms, skill names, tier names, etc., and they start changing every damn chapter. Sometimes you can figure out what they are. Sometimes you can't. Either way, it's terrible, and reading the novel feels like shit.

I'm on chapter 155 as I write this. The translation is such shit that I dropped the novel around chapter 100, but I came back because I remembered really liking the story and decided to give it another shot. I'm dropping it again because, holy f#ck, this translation is SUCH SHIT.

If your standards are so low that you're fine reading the trashiest of low-quality "edited" MTL, you're in luck. This is actually a solid novel. I'd also like to read it. Unfortunately, like almost everything else released these days, I give it 1 star and hope the MTL "editor" gets hit by a f#cking asteroid. Fu#k that asshole for being part of problem.
