    The comments were right, even though the beginning is promising and is closer to very good than bad. The author had to make the arc of the academy which destroyed all the good foundations he had laid. And the next arc remains in the same thread as that of the academy which by the way is not fundamentally bad individually, but if put after the beginning yes, knowing that it is between 300 and 400 chapters (it's long)

    I forgot to say it but the treatment of the MC during the Academy arc and after is really disrespectful, so much so that I take it personally, that is to say. I never thought that one day I would say that an author does not respect the protagonist he wrote.

    Starts of great! MC is dope and there's a ton of places that the story could go, but for some inexplicable reason, the author does the 'academy arc'.

    It lasts for hundreds of chapters and diminishes the MC and the story comes to a grinding halt. Chapters feel pointless. Face slapping is only enjoyable if it serves a purpose. This doesn't. He's restrained by the academy rules and it's a just a repeating cycle of something happening and the MC reacting.

    here's an advice that might change your mindset that I got somewhere I forgot from who.

    Stop reading the reviews.

    Why? Because they're not you. And you don't know what degenerates wrote it. It just seems long and detailed. But you'll just end up spending hours and by the time you find something seems worth it, it turns out sh*t.

    So just judge through the description and a few reviews and give it a shot. It sucks? Then drop it.

    Exactly like nor all highest rated or popular novel in NU or in Ranobes is actually good. Some just fcking ridiculous. While a few is actually good and they're not at the top 1. Which is funny. Why? Because you don't know which degenerates put their d*cks over keyboard while doing the rating and reviews. Not everyone has the same preference, you're unique. At least if you think you're.
