    Holy shit, all the reviews here, PLEASE, dont listen to them, they dont f#cking make sense. ARE U EXPECTING A FUCKING TEENAGER TO BE A GODDAMN GENIUS? The novel's just trying to be as realistic as possible. Who da f#ck expects a person to lead like, 90k people? Even a f#cking team leader irl could only handle like, 3 people, and thats with removing 2 people cuz they dont do shit. ALSO, this novel states all the issues Micheal faces in the future. ANNNDDDD,

    Talent? Nah, he mad f#cking talented, THEY JUST RICH AS HELL. LIKE, SUPER RICH, TO THE POINT THAT IT GETS SICK. ALSOOO, YOU EXPECT A PERSON TO COMMIT GENOCIDE??? Maaan have some common sense. If he did that, HE WOULD GET KILLED BY HIGHER BEINGS, HE WEAK AS HELL. ACTUALLY, THE FACT THAY HE COULD BEAT THE ASS OF THOSE OF HIGHER RANK THAN HIM IS A FUCKING BONUS.     Okay but honestly, if you want a realistic-ish but fantasy modern like read, this your go to. It has amazing like, continuation, and plus, the plot gets better.

    Cons: pacing at the beginning sucks ass, so f#cking long to digest all that, but if you do, you will understand everything. Otherwise, lots of words.

      The entire time something happens... the mc says oh look tamed beasts give talent points lets look into that... does not look into that. Oh corpses can be extracted lets test it more... stops halfway. Oh i need to get stronger... sits in his village for 2 months doing nothing. Oh lets do a proactive move for once... thanks for freeing me but most people don't like us because we can explode accidentally... don't worry here are my men to keep you company... hey i and my fellow elementals are under soul contract so watch out while freeing us... all his men died... nooooo!!... on and on.

He literally does all of that in the background, he literally tested everything from corpses, ranging from bought corpses to the corpses of his own subordinates, and note, it does nothing. Also yeah, sure, lets address the taming issue. He got soultraits from "tamed" creatures, is false, he got them from a controlled creature. And in this world, Im pretty sure a psychological manipulation skill is pretty rare, especially if its a high rank, and from what I remember, the one who controlled those creatures before have like a rank 2 or 3 war rune that controls the creature. I dont remember if Micheal got taming from that dude or not, but yeah, he controlled the heck out of that beast. BUT, SURE YES, LETS ASSUME THAT MICHEAL COULD YOU KNOW, TAME A CREATURE AND KILL THAT CREATURE TO EXTRACT, here is what will happen. He will only get flesh, no fragments, why? ITS HIS OWN SOUL TRAIT, HE WILL LITERALLY EXTRACT HIMSELF, not good.

        Also, yeah, I admit, 80% percent of his troops dying is sad. Like hell why the f#ck did they kill the mages, I loved them like my ships. But if you noticed, he matured as hell, he literally does almost everything you wanted after all of that, except like, killing people. Also, in writing, that's called twist. You could love it or you could hate it, depends on the person.

          He tested the corpse thing outside then mentioned he should look into corpses ingame and see how that works but he never does. His subordinate told him to do it and in the big battle ironically he glosses over the fact that all kills made by his allies also are his kills even if far away but does not use that knowledge.

          The taming monster kill gave him points to upgrade his talents as i vaguely recall. He got the taming talent but he never tries to expirement with it. Keep in mind we still don't really know how the points he gets to upgrade his talents come to existence. Does taking points actually hurt the tamer itself or not?

          I feel his actions don't really show any difference from the beginning till i read even if the novel mentions that he is maturing...

          What stops him from trying things out like making an gladiator arena and he can extract or something else. I wish he just found loopholes to get op faster instead at his current pace that is about it.

    I don't recommend you reading this. Don't waste your time on it.

    Frankly, the author is such a child, that it gets more frustrating, the further you read.
    Even though, the concept was close to my heart, I was forced to drop this madman's fever mid-arc.

    (Not to mention the repetitions of the same blocks of text multiple times in every chapter. You can, literally, read all chapter is the 1st couple of sentences)

    He is also very naive and i guess he is building a foundation but he is a lord and has no spy network... no trading(to up is talent)... he does research like buying corpses to test how his op talent works... then comes to a conclusion that tells him to trade for corpses ingame but he never acts on it. He finds out tamed animals give talent points so he kills the tamer and does nothing with that knowledge.

    At this point if he was a more clever mc he would be as strong as his teachers... instead he is a below average student.

        The mc can do so much more to get stronger. My biggest issue is that he never tries to 'outplay' the system. He rarely baits us by experimenting and then comes to a conclusion to try something and he never does it.

        The whales are stuck at specific talent lvl's and their techniques help them get stronger but it is limited. While our mc can just upgrade his talents so he does not really need the techniques as much.

        What stops him from trading with other lords for fresh bodies and in return he upgrades their talent. Just make sure they can't tell anyone.

        Or get multiple great talents onboard that you can upgrade in return for bodies.
        Or become a butcher or executioner to kill high grade criminals.
        Or create a group of tamers and let them tame monsters that you then kill because that gives talent fragments.
        Or hire mercenaries and give them x gold for 1 fresh body.

        He does nothing and it just disappointing.

            The system only looks strict because he does not test the limits.

            --Nothing stops him from using contracts like he did with the elves for making them his people for a duration. The subordinates of his tamed monster is also seen as 'his' kill. It never got stated that he or his people have to kill the monster just has to not be extracted and not brought to the real world.
            --He figured that out too late plus he has talents that are still lvl 1...
            --For a price anything is possible plus he does not need to kill them with extraction he does not even have to do it himself. He can just let someone do it under his contract and they bring the corpses.
            --Whales can get strong fast but they can't upgrade their talent. I am just basing it on what has currently been shown.
            --Issue i have is that he is playing like a casual player while i rather see him min max everything. Most novels of that kind aren't good that is why i am reading this because it is a bit better. Some others that are decent are Global Demon King: Starting as the Abyssal Dragon and Global Towers: Starting With The SSS-Rank Talent, God-Tier Extraction but not that great either. I guess if you want min max infinite mana is that on boosters.

              I agree with what you wrote, and it becomes even worth as the story progresses. It's pure railways, with no consequences. crybaby

              There was another novel with interesting world/magic system but shitty plot, it's name was Versatile Mage, and somewhere in 200s chapters I even went to check, if this novel was his doing.

    Read up to the latest Chapter (171). It's pretty good, but lately MCs decision making has become really bad with poor justification.

    Basic premise is that, upon reaching 18, certain people manifest a Soul Trait that allows them to connect to a different realm and be a Lord. If their territory falls then they can become Adventurers in that realm. As Lords, they can use a summoning platform to summon those who previously died in this realm as their subjects. MC does so, and his first summon turns out to be an evil ancestor of his who a whole bunch of people teamed up in the past to kill.
    His older brother is the only one who is there for him (parents are missing) and he is someone who is still a Lord in the other Realm. He discusses things a lot with MC and reminds him how he can easily be betrayed by foreign races as well as humanity, and to always be careful etc.

    For the most part, he does so, at least until recently where he seems to be making really stupid decisions for no good reason.

    [This will be fairly vague spoilers, but spoilers nontheless, so will put in the tags.]



    It just feels like he's suddenly become an idiot. He is trusting people who have already broken a promise before. He thinks hiding something that people would go crazy after and kidnap him for is bad and that he is "lying" to his people for doing so. He is trusting these Elders of a race he has never met before and even admits that he has found very little information about.

    Before these recent chapters, his decision making wasn't that bad at all tbh. There were definetly some weird/not great decisions, but nothing this bad. He is also, generally, a normal "nice guy" but then switches into threatening to kill/beat up/use the Elves as hostages etc.

    The story, other than this, was pretty interesting tbf and his relationship with his brother is nice, but this Elf stuff is really weird/annoying to read through. I am very close to dropping it, but the next arc in the main world is about to begin, with him currently being on a spaceship to this Military Academy on a different planet. Despite previously enjoying the Lord stuff way more than the main world stuff, i'm kinda hoping that it focuses more on the Military Academy stuff for a while, rather than him making all these weird/strange decisions as a Lord.

    Edit: Read the first 2 sentences of the next chapter and am dropping it.
