In the gutters of New Vultun, the greatest megacity in the world, Avo finds himself resurrected from the clutches of death and tasked with a mission by a father he long thought dead. Now, he must rise to stop the usurpation of reality by the Eight Great Guilds that rule his world. Only by learning from his deaths and grafting newer and greater eldritch gods onto his being can he reach apotheosis and avert certain damnation.

Yet, as he ascends to claim the mantle of divinity, a question lingers… what kind of god will he become?

Chapters will usually be around 2.5 to 3k words and updates daily at the present.

Declaimer: Expect detailed descriptions of violence, cannibalism, and cursing.

Expect: Violence, monster mc, magitech, cyberpunk, implants, atrocities, oppression, non-human protagonist, reality-warping powers, and combined arms warfare.

Do not expect: Smut, romance, overt sentimentality.

If you develop a sudden outbreak of rash after reading Godclads, it’s not the story. But go see a doctor. Just in case.

Fantastic story, writing and worldbuilding. Very unique. Very immersive.

Although the colloquial terms might be confusing at first, they very much add flesh to the dystopian hellscape the story inhabits.

Speaking of flesh, this is a very gory story and with a lot of descriptive killing. Def not for the faint of heart.

My advice to the less experienced readers struggling with the words: just accept that you don't know what it means and ride it out. Context will define them for you as you continue reading.

Also, the first few chapters are tougher to get through and understand than all the rest. Don't worry about that. Just push through till he wakes up clueless and everything will start making sense. The story is very much worth it.

As far as writing proficiency and uniqueness on this site, this novel is in a class far above like 95% of everything else.

      He has a glossary
Before I dropped it I used the glossary in the beginning to give the words meaning. But eventually you just know what they mean

I read it without index and it was completely fine. Index is more like some additional lore tidbits, and the most important stuff in it gets explained anyway.

Tbh I don’t even know what to rate this especially with the tags, My head is just hurting trying to read this well, ghoul try to think and it’s just painfully hard to try and make him a good Mc because what it seems like happens what the Mc was just a body and he had an a.I in his head to rationalize and order his thoughts but without it he is literally just a ghoul that can think but is absolutely dumb and has no control over his instincts or even think two steps ahead so bad bad novel if you want an Mc with more than one braincell

This is a very difficult question. EITHER I got stupid reading Chinese trash and stopped paying attention to high-quality works, or it's really confusing bullshit.

but if someone wants to start reading, it's better from chapter 2, there seems to be a beginning

It’s confusing as hell if you don’t read the index so I recommend at least skimming it in order to get some surface level knowledge. Otherwise besides all the new jargon this book chooses to make an entire index for its honestly good as hell.

    4.5/5

It is very well written, nothing you would expect from a webnovel. Though the first few chapters feel confusing and all over the place, they are not. You get thrown in the middle of the story. He is strong but is only at the peak of the "low levels". This is not a "fast food" novel. You need to pay attention and read every word at every chapter, skim read and you will not be able to understand the story. I tried to skim read or skip chapters but had to restart the novel and reread it and i do not regret it.

If you can manage past the techo-jargon of first two arcs (20 Chapters), you will get in a sci-fi world with fresh power level concepts, immersive description, non-human MC, strong plot, and amazing character development.
If you are not interested by the third arc, then this book isn't for you.
