    Don’t be fooled by the description. He only acquires genes like 4 or 5 times. Apparently the author thought it was a good idea to put on limit. In fact, the whole gene system gets dropped. If you were looking forward on reading about the Mc constantly acquiring genes, then this is not the place.

      As someone who actually read up to completion and will still do so cause light reading is my new hobby, I can 100% back your claims. It seems that the author has creativity to create scenarios but no foresight for his/her story

      The cultivation methods keep on being changed claiming yeah this one is better turns out MC has been on the misguided path, [spoiler] now after taking us through hundreds of chapters were the MC is obsessed with creating the perfect foundation and becoming a universe transcendent and all that, only for the next map(world) point he comes into he is constantly hiding that power or attempting to do so, too afraid that it may be discovered [spoiler] it’s hilarious it’s like the author is attempting to create tension in the story were it’s not necessary. The premise of gene lock was interesting then it just gets butchered and rebranded to now the people in the story just fight with massive bodies

      Then author notices how ridiculous and lackluster describing fight scenes of just giants fighting is, the. Chaos arc is so far a bit of a let down, especially since it’s the arc that’s covering the peaks of power rn.

      But maybe it’ll get interesting later idk , just hope author-San keeps a consistent story, the great thing about cultivation and evolution type novels is that the ideas are built of the foundations and premise of the begging parts of the story, of the rules that govern that world and it’s power systems,

      These ones just feel completely unrelated from one to the other, most times the power systems and how they are scaled is portrayed in a linear fashion but, but in this novel it feels like a every cultivation path is a half gimmick of the full thing that other novels managed to create and flesh out appropriately

    I was having fun reading it but after 100 chapters I'm starting to get sick of it.
    Every f#cking time the author pulls out a completely avoidable stupid drama just to paint MC as a saint.
    Once or twice was fine but for f#cks sake every single time.... something dramatic happens MC will be there to be in the spotlight.
    It has got to the point that if anything remotely disheartening happens I'm sure MC will be there to save the day puke

    Never attach any importance to other characters, they will either die or get completely forgotten

    Too much drama, at first the lc was supposed to be discreet but each time he must not in the media to see how heroic he is and is the savior of humanity and each time it is the same and all this f#cking drama takes a lot of chapter and these for that the MC breaks his lock in chapter 81, I really hate this there are many so-called coincidences but that are too forced you can be sure that the MC will always be something to make it mediatized I really believedthat this novel would be gold but it seems that it is a big shit like the others
