In a world full of caped superheroes, supervillains, and monsters, Aldrich is worthless. 95% of humanity has evolved to develop superpowers, but Aldrich is one of the rare few that has no powers at all.

    Really only thing that made me drop this was when mc said he would kill innocents if it’s for greater good. I don’t really prefer bad mcs but if there’s a logical reason for how they are it’s fine, but MCs past is being a innocent who was just harmed by people stronger than him, and now he would be willing to hurt those who are innocent on purpose since it would benefit the greater good (which overall is pretty subjective tbh)

    Overall it just seemed hypocritical and didn’t make sense to me of how he would develop to think that way, Only way I could think of is him becoming a necromancer changing him but I don’t really think otherwise there’s logical reason for him developing this way

            If the reason for him being evil, is because he wants wants to be evil, that’s just bad writing (This is according to you saying that he doesn’t need a reason to be mean). Like basically what your saying is that a person who is a normal citizen, doesn’t have to be good in any way, can suddenly have thoughts of wanting to kill everyone and is willing to act on it without any reason or some sort of mental problem, just because they want to? That shouldn’t happen, and if it does is has to be something from their past or some sort of mental problems. But again my point that mc doesn’t have much reason to develop in the way of the killing innocents for his goals stands.

              I still agree with my thinking, without a figure to teach you right and wrong, you can be bad, and you can even be born like this, it doesn't matter if you're good, for me we are born neutral and the world makes us change, change can't even always be like bullying or something like that, you can just have an idea like "I'm shperior to others" and making people around disagree generating conflicts...

      Using lesser Evil to stop a greater Evil is indeed still Evil, but preventing someone from committing Evil is also considered a Good act, so its very contradicting on how you depict MC's personality when what if the only way to save the world is to sacrifice others, you wouldn't be able to do it unless you have resolve like MC here, its like the trolly problem, you would choose to do the lesser evil for the greater good, you would choose for 1 person to die rather than 5

    As of chapter 132

    The story is interesting and kept me engaged, however the pacing is frustrating. The story is overly edgy. The characters tend to speak in mini-monologues, regardless of how pressing the situation.

    The necromancer power balance is stupid, he can only have a handful of undead, but they are all OP. The main character isn't very intellectual, preferring to act tough rather than understand his own powers.

    There is some romance, but it's completely one sided and used mostly as comedy relief.

    The story pulls from a lot of interesting tropes (magic, mega corps, cyber punk, superpowers, walled cities attacked by monsters...) but only does an average job of building a world from that.

        Because most people like me like to look at spoilers every once in a while and when u notice that the spoiler u opened has nothing in it u would naturally get pissed. But if it happens several times and you get baited by the same person you would start to feel stupid because of getting tricked which causes you to hate the other person even more.

    As of chapter 35.
    Start is clichee, useless MC in a world of superpowers with all the bullying that comes with it (i skipped 2-3 chaps in the beginning just because i didnt want to read about another clichee bullied MC)
    Story telling and writing is surprisingly good for a novel that has a 'system' in its title.
    A revenge story which is a Meh for me. Cant get into them really.
    But what really made me stop reading this novel is the concept of heroes and villains. Just heroes and villains i would somehow tolerate, but caped and uniformed heroes? Hell f#cking no, cringy as f#ck. Thank goodness the author didnt call these superpowers 'quirks' or i would die from an aneurism. Again.
    Just cannot bring myself to immerse in a world of superheroes and whatnot
