[Climb the Dimensional Tower and have any wish fulfilled by the gods themselves!]

Enters Josh Malum.

He was feared on Earth, but in this new world, he is but a Fallen. One that is forced to Climb. If it wasn’t bad enough already he is also Classless, something that is unheard of in the Tower. Yet none of it phases him.

«You think I should be despairing? Why? Is it because I’m classless? They offered me so many classes, I simply refused them all.»

Sacrificing the many worlds is a small price to regain what he once lost. To all the deities that stand in his way:

That is when Josh approached her. "You were questioning your sex appeal? Sorry about that. I didn't think you'd take it that badly. If it makes you feel better your ass felt very good. It's plump, bountiful, exquisite, voluptuous, has the perfect juiciness, and yet remains tight enough. So don't worry about it, any man would be more than happy to reenact the scene where Merlin stabs his Excalibur deep in the rock, but with your ass instead."

Starts out above average, then steadily degrades in quality. Author loves pulling random bullshit out of their ass, the MC has no rhyme or reason to their power (which the author flops between useless and overpowered on a whim), and the author seems to love not explaining anything in a satisfying manner. Dropping this circa chapter 160, I can only wait so long for answers to fundamental questions - or even progress in obtaining those answers.

This is honestly just poorly executed trash, because the one aspect of the novel that made it unique and enjoyable is not explored in the slightest, and completely ignored by the author for all intense of purposes. Extremely frustrating to read, would not recommend.

I am totally willing to wade through filler if I see a light at the end of the tunnel, and if the Author is logical and consistent with their power ratings. I read 3200 chapters of super gene, because the MC was consistent in power level in relation to the world around them, while constantly making concrete steps to an established goal. I read 2200 chapters of Versatile Mage before the MC actually got the girl that he had been chasing after since chapter 4. I am willing to sit through a lot of content, but I have to have the reassurance that It will pay off. And that reassure is a logical world and power structure, that is consistent with itself at all times, and at least some progress towards a long term goal. This book has none of it. As stated in my previous review, the author makes him an ant or a dragon on a whim, all while never fleshing out a personal or global power structure. I can not abide by this constant retconning of how powerful the MC is, and the total lack of progress towards literally anything meaningful. If the Author never explains why a goal is meaningful and the MC should strive towards it, then for all intense of purposes to the reader that goal is not meaningful. You can't not explain the cultivation in a novel then just go "yeah MC wants to enter the cockandballtorture realm to form his golden gimp mask". There is no motivation (some wanker from a sect stepped on parents or something) or any grounding within the world for that cultivation goal (actually the cock and ball torture realm is the second realm above mortal). Its ridiculous that after 160 chapters of garbage nothings and retconning people want to tell me this is a masterpiece. If game of thrones only got good in the third book, nobody would give a shit. That is precisely the situation I find my self in. I see so much potential in the book, but I see no proof the author will ever execute on that potential after 160 chapters, and so its dropped. 160 chapters is a long ass time to show not even a single crumb of evidence that you can bring it home.

Though there is a power structure on the whole, the MC is kinda nuts after he lost his girl... And the author assures that he doesn't give a damn about how the readers take his writing, and that he will write whatever pops int his mind just because he's the author...

My take on this is that it might not be for everybody but I find the writing style unique... Like who even adds a test to eat shit that tastes and smells like chocolate or chocolate that states and smells like shit...

I've got to respect the author though. He feels he doesn't owe anything to the readers and he owns up to it.

When you said that in versatile mage you waited for Mo Fan to get the girl he always chased for do you mean ice girl(forgot her name) and is it only her, is it not a harem constraint

Mu Ningxue, and no - 2(he also after his adoptive non-blood related stepsister, and yikes about his Mother-in-law) does count as harem. especially if you add the vampire and snake into the mix.

Wow, I gotta say, I admire you. If you managed to slog through super gene and versatile mage, then you're a greater person than I am. I couldn't even read 100 chapters of the two of them before I dropped them. For you to survive them and still call this book garbage is something to truly consider.
One thing I like in my books is order. Rules, logic and Realism. The moment I found out that the MC didn't want a class from the options he was give and then proceeds to throw a tantrum, that's the moment I sucked out.
Yes, they say he is crazy, insane and some people like that. If he were crazy in a structured world, then maybe I'll take it seriously. But when the rules of the world start bending to the whims of the MC, by extension the author, I see it as an excuse for the author to do anything and have a reason for it.
