    The author of this piece is simply incredible. Not only did he release many additional chapters for the new year (I just read it, it wasn’t ahead of time), he even reads comments on pirate sites.     I'm writing this since I've noticed the author is very active in responding to people. My problem with the novel is that 36 chapters in there has been no proper explanation of the power system of the world. Like we know the mc has a jobs and levels but I have no idea how the other characters are characterized.

      The explanation for this is because I used the Template of Mushoku Tensei. In that story, you won't see the power levels of your enemy. Only a general understanding of how strong they are. Most of the readers had been spoiled by the novels they read that allows them to measure how strong their enemies is.

      For me, this is not really practical. I mean, seriously, if you go out of your house and looked at a random guy, will you be able to tell how strong they are? Maybe the timid guy that always gets bullied is a martial artist that just don't want to showcase his talents.

      Sure, appearances can be deceiving. But, the world I wanted to create, is not going to be measured by power levels. This is why, I only gave the monsters a power rating. As for the Characters, they just get grades.

      Just like those adventurers in other novels. The MC always starts with E-Rank, but he is stronger than those A-Ranked adventurers. Do you get my drift?

        I catch your drift and I kinda expected and accept something like the plain old adventurers rank. My gripe was more on the lines of I know that the mc levels up but I don't know if everyone else does, like I have no clue exactly how they get stronger. Based on previous chapters it seems like you kinda mixed sword and magic/ medieval settings with cultivation like stuff ( sects, broken engagement 🤣 and so called geniuses. My problem is with the lack of explanation so far in.
