The New Gate (LN)ザ・ニュー・ゲート

This is one of the first books I've read since reading eastern translations and coming back to it, all I can say is that it's horrible. The author has never touched a woman and it's reflected in the novel with the parsing. It's a standard Japanese wish fulfillment novel where the MC exceeds the system, he reappears in a game world where technology has regressed since his time. Any one of his weapons/works would shock the world. The story revolves around him collecting a harem whilst trying to figure out a way to return to his original world where he misses his friends and familythey most likely hate him. The romance is juvenile, the MC does not have a personality and there are no stakes. He is one step stronger than any villain and has the solution to every problem that arises. I can say the world building is fantastic, it's the only positive but you'll be reading a story where the author belays any expectation at every turn. The story just meanders along despite being 20 books deep. To conclude; don't waste your time.

I remember reading this novel then reading the manga too. I liked it at that time but was slumped due to no chapters and after so many months I had forgotten about this one.
Gladly, the subscribe option exists and it has now have given me some quality material to consume during this drought.
