Too much focus on mechanics (system mechanics, training, explaining gear and making money, and so on) for my taste. It feels like I can just skip most of the text and miss nothing important.

Meh it's not half baf honestly. The mc is decent and has completely adopted to his life in a harsh world full of dangers in early chapters, that's nice so nice really nice. The power systems is okay ig, you have class, proffesions, magic.

The world building is also okay, it's ur classic fantasy world with elves, dwarves, demons, dragon kind, but there's no classic wars between demons tho, js monsters respawn every now and then. It's so ordinary but it's not that bad, the author is consistent to his world.

The harem tag is just a bait, he got reincarnated in a porn game so yea, a world full of girls is to be expected but he doesn't really go on romantic relationships with them tho, he puts a clear boundary of just being friends.

But the thing i don't like is how it was written, almost half of things are just narrator retelling a story, it's somewhat subtle so you can probably ignore that, the imagery is detailed which is okay ig.

The author is just too focused on mc, the background characters, no matter how emotional their story is, it's just summarized by narration so they just remained as background characters, no matter how the author emphasized their importance, they always remain as background bc if it's not mc, the author is just summarizing them, kinda lazy writing honestly, i feel like the author could've done more with his skill.

Character design is meh, it's just stereotypes. A silver haired elf prodigy in magic and her powerful relative protecting her. A red haired girl with fiery temper and her buffed daddy, a shy bookworm alchemist girl, a blonde lively guild receptionist. It's okay but it's all character archetypes you see everywhere.

It's neither bad nor good, just okay. BUT it's definitely far better than most slops here so i still recommend reading this.

Read up to chapter 63, and this is honestly super solid. There's an occasional horny edge to it, with a bit of harem-bait, though it mostly adds to the comedic elements and the tone than anything, and as far as I can tell, seems to have died up considerably outside of the first 10-20 chapters.

The writing is nice, good grammar, the flow lends itself to the setting and tone of the story. Side-characters are a smidge under-developed, but the story is clearly working on that part of things. A slow-paced (though not slice-of-life) fantasy action novel with a non-OP system and an almost tongue-in-cheek humour that it plays into. I like the MC a lot, as well; a genuinely nice guy with motivations we can get behind who's easy to like, root for, and honestly, be amused by. Can't speak on the progression or fantasy elements since we've seen so little of it, but everything so far has been very competent.

8.7/10, would recommend to anyone looking for a good dose of fantasy-action in a (at least currently) Adventurer's Guild setting!

I genuinely have no idea what the bad reviews are on about. This is one of the best new novels this site has ever added.

Sadly not many chapters, but the story exactly scratches that unending fantasy system itch. The MC is clever, careful and honestly funny.

The side characters are great. Though they sometimes act a bit one dimensional, each has a personality and is unique. They even have their life outside the MC which is rare in these fantasy isekai worlds

The world building is also great. The chapters available don’t get that far in the story, but I truly have no complaints.

Other comments have said that it turns into a harem, but so far the author just makes fun of thirsty readers. The MC is always a gentleman though he does appreciate the finer sex and it’s written very well. As someone who doesn’t enjoy horny bait novels, I have had no issues with the story.

holy crap this is terribly written the translation 10/10 the story though... its like sitting in the DMV all day and that was just chapter 1

Don't waste your time reading is boring as hell,

I have read up to chapter 140 (latest in MTL), so here we go... The story is your typical reincarnation plot, focusing on how the MC interacts with the characters (mostly girls). There are certain POVs that hint at a broader world, but the MC is still in the starting town and will probably stay there for another 40–50 chapters. I wouldn’t say this is an amazing or boring work, it's kind of mid level, but still interesting enough to hold your attention as a novel.

Now, about the system, it mocks the MC from time to time but gives him good results on quests, and I’d say the grading system is decent. As for the MC, he’s just like most of us, slightly horny but serious when required, and he doesn’t act recklessly(don't put his d*ck on things). The author has dropped hints of a harem throughout the story, along with some foreshadowing here and there.

And oh god, he still hasn’t even gone to a dungeon yet. meme_12 and why there is no update beyond chapter 140 is beyond us.
