verything is spoiled by the incredible stupidity of the characters. And not only are the "villains" stupid, but the main character's wife and himself are just as stupid. It's a dark comedy, of course, but you can't make the characters absurdly stupid. There has to be a balance.

Its ok, but at some point around chapter 80 the character says " the reader will not like it" or things tats says they knew they were in a novel. I dislike it!

I Read the full novel from the links redirecting into another website. Better read MTL than wait for an year for the translation to complete

Was expecting it to be another trash with brain dead characters and bad romance,. was good to be proven wrong (except the villains who are totally braindead)

Solid comedy/romance, a unique twist with swapping the genders from the stereotypical CEO novel.

Most characters get character development except mc, antagonists and random side characters, the one who changes the most is female lead (she's still crazy). Mc is still a good for nothing but he accepts it, no need to be a hypocrite. Story gets better after he encounters a certain black cat in Lue yao's mansion, that's where the fml mc's back story gets revealed.

Really enjoyed reading this one ngl, I will re read this again in like 2-5 years later. Better than reading another cultivation thing where I don't feel any emotions from seeing mc speedrun realms with constant face slap stuff.

This is why you don't trust review scores with romance novels in a site filled with action, power fantasy stuff.

Isn't this novel where the crazy FML cuts the limbs of the MC's family and his ex-girl, then sends them to become "duty holes" in a random country of Asia? I think I saw bits on an MTL website, the girl is nuts and also kills part of her own family... It's like a "revenge towards scumbags" novel where the purpose is to see the torture of the ones who offended the MC.
