I feel like this quote is a good enough review:
As a member of the Fire Demon Sand Bandits, he had never been injured by anyone; he must make Chen Yu pay a most terrible price.

    "Young Master!”

"How dare you attack our Young Master, kill him.”

The towering giant roared in anger.

Suddenly, more than forty bandits, their eyes shining with a brutal light, stared at Chen Yu altogether.

    "Court death!”

Sigh, I should've listened to the reviews below. This scripture truly is not for an aged dinosaur like myself.

I know I will sound like a broken record, but kylegreys review is spot on. Decent enough if you're new to webnovels.

Ah, GoldenDaoBuddha Bird, your words flutter like a gentle breeze through the ancient pines—grateful I am that my humble ink found a place in your discerning eyes.

Know this: KyleGrey has long shed his mortal skin, ascending like a phoenix into the misty realms as the InkDrunk Wanderer, forever wandering the endless scrolls of stories and silence.

May your wings carry you swiftly through the vast heavens of tales yet untold. Until we meet again on some whispered page beneath the Dao’s quiet gaze.

Chapter 1 is misplaced to after Chapter 70. Don't know when it'll be fixed. I also posted it in the comments of Chapter 2 if anyone wants to give it a try.

This is an annoying book to read. Why? The MC is made out to be martial arts cuck by the author.

First and foremost, the most annoying thing is that the way the plot progresses, or the MC gains enemies is that random guys that are interested in a girl he's associated with want problems with him. If this happened a few times, it'd be normal. But EVERY single conflict MC has seems to stem from others wanting a girl he doesn't even want anymore. Get this, she's not the only one, there's another girl he became associated with by force, and she brings him problems as well.

The second and more annoying thing is that it seems like whoever plots against MC becomes an ally of his. Some might think, "wow, this seems like a good trait". But no, this isn't the classic MC changes the mind of a former enemy (no Talk No Jutsu here). No, this MC is either too oblivious to being scammed, or somehow forgets about being plotted against and moves on. It's so bad, that if I was to be transmigrated into this novel as a side character, my main goal to gain power is to scheme against this MC. Will he ever punish me for targeting him? Nope. I'll gain the resources that I used him for, and he'll still be cool with me.

See a valuable beast on the outside and want to sacrifice MC to gain the resources? Just do it. Either MC will die or even if he doesn't, he'll act like nothing happened. So, either way you'll get the resources and can scam this MC again. It seems like no matter how many times you plot against him, he'll just act like nothing happened. Even if he finds out, will he demand the resources back from you? Nope, again, the story will just progress like nothing happened. Its so bad that it feels like a crime against oneself to not scam this MC.

MC: "What you've plotted against me twice and if I didn't have this cheat I would have died? Oh well, all that's water under the bridge. Sure, I'd be glad to go with you again on a mission, what could go wrong?!"

Ah… so this aged soul meets the same scroll once more, merely cloaked in different robes and with a slightly more flirtatious breeze.

To my fellow long-walking cultivators: if you’ve read the author's previous scroll, then you already know the cultivation path. I, too, consumed over 400 chapters in two days beneath the peach blossoms—only to realize I had wandered the same mountain trail I swore I left behind.

Lo! It begins—as always—with the protagonist stumbling upon a mysterious shiny pebble… er, ‘crystal’… which fuses with his divine meridians in a way only fate (and authors) can explain. Then comes the lightning-speed cultivation, the ascent from outer court trash to inner sect godling, some spicy banter with fellow disciples, and suddenly—a forgotten enemy reawakens with continent-ending beef. War! Exile! New land! New sect, now called a ‘college’ for some reason! Tournament arc! Sudden, miraculous breakthrough! Return! Face-slapping galore!

Does it sound familiar? That’s because it is. The skeleton of this tale is older than the Azure Dragon itself.

Still, I must admit—the protagonist, while emotionally stunted like a frozen turtle egg, does wag his tongue more brazenly with the ladies. There’s even some actual Dual Cultivation early on (may the Heavens forgive him). It’s a refreshing perversion of the usual shy virgin routine we’re so cursed to endure.

And yes—buried deep among the jade fluff are whispers of future twists, glimmers that perhaps the tale may diverge… someday.

So here lies my verdict: for new disciples to the Dao of Webnovels, this scroll is a decent entry trial. For us old relics? It is but a familiar tune played on a new zither. Not terrible, not transcendent. Three stars carved into the wall of the Pavilion—not out of scorn, but out of wearied understanding.

Ah, you honor this humble wordsmith far more than he deserves! For the longest time, I stood beneath the Plum Blossom Cliff, scrolls in hand, waiting for the right moment to inscribe my thoughts—believing myself unworthy to leave brushstrokes upon the grand tapestry of reviews. But alas, even a wandering cultivator must one day share his insights, however muddled by qi deviation they may be. So here I am—grateful, scribbling, and most amused.
