Decent novel, with a strong political take on the Naruto genre.

Although the novel starts off with a system, it essentially disappears less than halfway through and any aspects are barely ever mentioned.

Some of the villains are portrayed as cartoonishly evil sometimes, or be neutral/good with no other discernible difference to canon characters.

The harem parts are easily the worst parts of the novel, with borderline smut content
that serves no purpose other than to show MC being a women’s men.

The ending is also horrendously rushed, with more plot holes, retcons, and stupid interactions than I care to count.

Other than that, the political interactions were interesting.

Decent novel that started out amazing but ended up becoming the author's disturbing wish fantasy, some of the author's takes on this novel are just a redditor's wet dream, and the hilarious thing is the author tries to justify it

An alternate take on Naruto events (accuracy uncertain).

The beginning is really interesting with heavy plots and scheming. It really lets you understand the MC's motivations.

At some point the secondary motivation is introduced and it's hard to say which one is actually the real motivation and which one is the means to achieve it.

The latter half is pretty mediocre. All the intricate schemes and hidden plots mostly ignored due to increased power and resources. In the end the secondary characters are more interesting as they adapt to a different timeline. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to maintain the quality.

Plagued heavily by repeating the same things over and over. Sometimes in the next chapter and even more egregiously in the next paragraph.

The same preachy lines about what is right and wrong lose major impact after hearing it so many times. A few times every dozen or so chapters initially easily becomes once or twice every chapter as the story progresses. At some point, stretching word count is a likely reason.

If you add up all of Deidara's lines, 70% would be "Art is an explosion". It may seem like an exaggeration, but is sure felt that way. Probably the only character that felt like an NPC from a video game.

Lightly sprinkled at the start, random harem events become a focus in the middle of the story eventually being only lightly referenced to if at all by the end.

Certain members might of made things interesting due to circumstances, but the possibilities were not explored that deeply. Eventually it just becomes a trophy collection harem and quickly becomes wish fulfillment, fan service or filler.

Motivations for characters are for the most part believable (?) and thought out. There is a heavy bias against certain characters, most likely to make them more of antagonist. A consequence of this is the author constantly grinding them down to the point where it seems a little excessive at times.

I believe there is only one character the author is heavily biased against for seemingly no reason. They aren't a main antagonist and hardly even seem like a secondary antagonist. They were even randomly mentioned later in the story as the only minor character alongside a line up of more important characters.

    TLDR:

    Overall an alright story.

    - Interesting beginning full of schemes and plots
    - Mediocre to boring second half of the story
    - Main character becomes too strong to keep the story interesting
    - Secondary characters adapting to the different timeline not enough to maintain quality
    - Constantly repeats itself
    - Deidara is an NPC
    - Potentially interesting harem becomes boring trophy collection
    - Heavy bias against antagonists
    - Decent character motivations
    - Really seems to hate one specific minor character for no apparent reason

Author realized pay to win was too op after first few chapters so he dropped the concept mid novel and picked up another eastern Qi Luck coins gimmick for improving MC but this was discarded too very fast. also OC was very boring so the majority of story is around original characters playing comedic gag roles and reverse roles.

One of the better naruto fanfics, if a bit misleading. Despite what the title might imply, the pay to win system aspect of the novel is not relevant at all, if anything, it's just there to add some flavor to the novel. The beginning chapters might focus a bit more on the p2w system and the mc's status sheet, but once yoru gains powerful talents, the p2w is barely ever mentioned again(this happens before even reaching the middle point of the novel) and yoru's status sheet completely disappears, so around the 100 chapter mark you no longer get to see the mc's powers properly expressed.
As long as you keep in mind that this isn't a system novel, you can find enjoyment within - the author offers a subverted approach on the narutoverse that was quite entertaining, portraying the world's politics, conspiracies and various characters in a new light - what you thought was good, might have been evil! The author's disdain towards naruto himself and various other characters was entertaining, since the author doesn't just hate on these characters, but properly justifies why they are wrong and for what reasons(although sometimes his bias is a bit too heavy). Some of my complaints are that, aside from dropping the p2w system in the gutter somewhere along the way, the author seems to be overly verbose at times, repeating the same thing, just from different perspectives. Also, there's a harem, and even if it doesn't bog down the story too much, they're obviously just there to satisfy the author's vanity - having the character he created bang all the hotties. It's a bit cringe how blatant it is, but since it's not a big part of the story, i feel it could have been worse.
In conclusion, a fun novel! Bit heavy on politics and conspiracies, but a good read regardless. A solid 3.9 out of 5 - sometimes things got a bit dodgy due to the author's bias, but still alright. imbest
P.S: The author did shikamaru and naruto dirty, dear god, i was straight up traumatized...if you know, you know, i won't spoil it, but goddamn. 🤢🤮

It's starts interesting a system where mc can exchange currency for gold to gain power magically. So, since mc is quite poor he cannot fully utilize it and since the conversation rate from Ryo to gold is so shit he's effectively gained this reputation of being greedy for money. However once Mc gains a position where gaining funds is actually easy author suddenly completely throws the whole system bit in the bin and now we only learn about mc having upgraded his abilities when ever he shows them off to the next enemy. This... read like absolute shit. It's confusing. Also, the author heavily focused on politics of everything but later he even abandoned that too and nominally it became I have the bigger fist and the world bend over backwards to fit my idea without much of any reason why things are like they are. The focus is all over the place and arguably while the story progress mc character gets warped more and more into someone really unlikable.

It started nice but politics keep happening in like every chapter(currently read till chapter 71) and that made me start to loose interest. You don't feel attachment to characters here.

I swear to God this novel is unexpectedly good. You would not think that this was written by a chinese author. Names are all japanese and no chinese motherf#ckkers in a japanese novel... finally. He is also trying to keep it logical. I really recommend it. currently chapter 36.
