Regret filled Valyr as he witnessed Earth before him crumble into nothingness. Although he and the others had done everything they could, their efforts were all for naught as they stood powerless to stop the inevitable, causing billions upon billions of innocent lives to perish in the cold and unwelcoming darkness of space.

Indignant at the outcome, Valyr asked the heavens above to give him a second chance, a chance wherein he would make sure the inevitable didn’t happen. Though he knew that the likelihood of it happening was slim to none, surprisingly…

The heavens answered.

Opening his eyes, he swiftly found out his wish had been granted, in more ways than one at that. Not only was he brought back to the time where everything had yet to unfold, he was also reborn as an NPC in the game where everything started and everything ended.

The True Immersion VRMMORPG, Greater Beyond.

Utilizing his newfound advantages, in conjunction with his knowledge of the game and its various versions from his previous life, Valyr was going to make sure that what happened before wouldn’t happen again. And all of that began…

With him picking up the Blacksmith class.

    [Chapter 118 review]

Story is a 3.5 so far. Its been pretty slow paced so far, the players haven't even entered the picture though that might be after the next arc. Dont see why its rated so low yet. Yeah, story ain't amazing or anything but its definitely not 2.4 bad. Only thing that bugs me so far is that some chapter are clearly padded out to seem longer but a lot of authors do that.

The MC seems dumb considering he lived this life before but I have to remember that he now has an NPC system(everyone in this world has a game systems thats devided into NPCs and Players). His system is literally different in how it works now.

Might update my review down the line but its a solid 3.5 rn.

      [Chapter 256 review]

3.1 score right now. The MC keeps complaining in his head when other people explain things he knows about but constantly asks people about stuff he 100% should know about. It's not even his way of pretending not to know something so it wouldn't be suspicious, he's just outright doesn't know.

The MC is told he has the requirements to enter the inheritance ground of possibly the best inheritance on the planet and people from one of the highest organizations are searching for him so he can go there. Obviously, after find out the first thing the MC does is buy a building and open a Blacksmithing shop that he knows he will have to leave within at least 2 months. The chapter I'm at, he's about to leave the city and there are no indications that another blacksmith has been found to take over.

The main reason the MC didn't leave is because of a quest involving a Serial Killer in the city but it has been dragged out too godd*mn much. He keeps capturing people and immediately finds out there is someone higher on the totem pole forcing them to do it. It's like the author wanted to do one of the clan ladder tropes where you beat up a butler, then a young master, then a clan head, then a clan ancestor, and then, once again, a butler of a higher family and the cycle repeats. But instead of doing this over multiple arcs and 500 chapters, they've crammed it all in 50 chapters.

        [Chapter 388 review]

Story is a 3.4 right now. It's not necessarily gotten better, honestly, it seems like the author made a mistake making this a Intergalactic novel since there's no shot the MC leaves this planet before chapter 1500 from what I've seen. The players joined the world for maybe 3 chapters and then it went into the update between Alpha build and the next time Players will show up will be a year later in the Beta build. I searched through the chapters to see when they come and it looks like it's around chapter 1100 before the full version of the game releases which is wild. Don't know when the Beta starts chapter-wise though so who knows.

The one thing I've learned to accept is that the Author pads his chapters a lot, and sometimes the ways he does it is by making the MC an idiot. There's this one moment where the MC meets and person who they've already met the Sister and Father of. When the guy introduces himself, he mentions his fathers name since this is a noble. The MC then asks the person who is obviously the girls brother if he knows her, with the guy responding with "yes, how did you know". And the MC responds that he thought his HAIR COLOR looks similar to the sister and father. Just ignore the fact that they have the same last name and you met the father of both of them, the hair color is what really brings it together.

          [Chapter 584 review]

I'm leaving it off at a 2.9/5. The MC just now got to an arc that lasts 300 chapters and I'm not that dedicated to the novel to read more right now. The Author has the makings of a good novel with some of the worldbuilding, not much of it mind you, but literally everything else brings it down. The MC is constantly asking questions he should know. It's not even about High Level stuff he's not expected to know, just stuff he's done. He literally said to one person that an Elder of the Spear Guild gave him his Subclass and then 40 or so chapters later he is surprised when the person who he told that to knows that information. That's also only, like, a day or 2 in story.

The MC's background and the future storylines from the game that are mentioned sounds interesting as hell but the author is one of those people who gives the MC multiple "Fate of the World" quests and then have the MC do literally nothing about them. I wouldn't be surprised if the MC completes the quest a week or 2 before it's "too late", which is especially worse since these are quests that give more rewards the quicker you do them.

Like I mentioned in another review, the players aren't in the story yet beside for 3 chapters during an Alpha version of the game that has already come and gone. The Author keeps bringing up snippets of future arcs in the game and it's just wild since we know we're not gonna see this shit for another 5000 chapters. The point in which the "Final Battle" happens is 9 years into the future, but we learned that that's Earth years and it's actually 70+ years in the future in-game. To put that into perspective, it hasn't been a year since the MC has regressed/transmigrated. It's just so slow moving with really nothing getting done.

Why do people make it where the MC is an NPC in a game? If they do somehow become one and start acting different than what programmers wrote, they are deleted or reset

It is a novel that you skim not read.

No unique aspects, unlikable bland MC, smirk at every sentence.

The ending was a bit rushed. Seemed that the author needed like more time and chapters to polish the plot. Maybe he got bored or tired and decided to finish it. Though the end showed that there was actual planning in the plot and it wasn't done through shooting blind.

It is a good novel but the only thing i disliked besides the ending that was a bit to rushed was that we never got to the point he actually was seen in the eyes of most as a 'calamity extinction' character like mason (i think was his name, ai mechanic guy) was seen as and everyone always gave the feeling of: we can handle it when looking at the mc. Also some kind of merging or way to get unique skills of his own would have been nice addition.

Not exactly. First, he hooks up with a woman who literally, if someone takes dick in front of her, she'll let him in, but that's fine, the worst was when he DATING a girl, go there and give her money to go to a whorehouse full of men for her to f#ck

why does the Author have to bring in his fetish into the story, Isn't this guy trying to save the world or something? you'd think he'd be more focused, well thanks for the warning.

It doesn't happen, the other guy is probably commenting on the wrong novel.

I've read all the way to 800+ chapter with no harem or any weird kinky fetish whatsoever.

In fact, the side character is really well balanced between man and woman. MC is too busy forging or upgrading his combat ability to think about chicks.

In the first 100 chapter of novel I can only think about 2 or 3 woman MC interact with, one being a newbie alchemist that help him concoct some potion while the other is a warrior that he barely interact with.

No, rather the reason I am asking is because during a duration of ~30h so have I read ALL chapters without any major break (longest being total of 3h of food and 6h sleep), that is why I am asking where if it isn't that you are hyperboling.

One of the two, either I commented wrong, since was almost a year ago, or the author edited this part, but since you read all the current chapters. Why don't you leave a review about the novel? This way, people who want to read it can base themselves a little on what you wrote.

I made this comment 1 year ago, in fact, I didn't even remember I had made it. Naturally, I don't really remember if what I said happened.

I did a bit of research and discovered the reason for the contradiction. I read this novel on "pandasnovel" and there were two novels with the same cover and synopsis, but totally different chapters. That explains why I commented on it when it came out on Ranobes.

I can't edit or delete the comment because it's been too long.
