Thousands of years ago, the First Expungement came. The world changed, and humanity was nearly wiped out. Thankfully, with the paracausal power of Angelicas, humans was able to push back the Ghost tide and rebuild their civilization.

Now, however, it was time for the Second.

Finn Thresher was just a normal university student at first. He, like the rest of the public world, had no idea what was coming for them — but sometimes, just because you don’t know, doesn’t mean you can’t be harmed.

His family… his sight… his purpose. All lost to the paranormal.

It was time to abandon his beliefs. To throw away his morals.

After all… if these creatures weren’t human anyway, there was no point in showing them humanity.

In the first battle of this war, the Ghosts won, nearly driving the human race to extinction. In the second, the humans fought back with the power of Angelicas and managed to secure a victory.

Now, the third and final round was approaching — and this time, it’s personal. Collapse

The Author's inexperience is visible with this novel, but I find it a shame the Author left this novel unfinished before it had time to shine and polish. It was a lump of coal but given time It could've been a diamond.

The author's inexperience can be seen in this one:
In general, novels are most entertaining to read when we can sympathize with characters or even imagine ourselves in their shoes and share their emotions of hate, love, etc. In this one, the author imediately throws at us the MC's parents' death and expects us to understand his feelings but i cannot really care for these characters' death, when i don't even know their names and they havent played any part in thestory, they havent even appeared for gods sake.
Another point is world building. The humanity is on the verge of destruction and public doesnt know about ghosts. Taking into consideration that half of humanity has angrlicas thats pretty stupid.
    Mc is an edgelord.
That female system bitch is annoying.
    Power levels arent made clear.
All in all its not as satisfying to read as it could be.

For author claiming no cliché in the story, this novel is full of it.

So, a few chapters in, and maybe I'll come back to read this at a later date but there's something that's putting me off, and I can't quite tell what it is. The spelling, the grammar, the overall structure, is all right. Hell, even the dialogue is decent but the story still feels off somehow.

The world is a little confusing, the protagonist just accepts everything,
    Also, the
type character that I don't like, personally, as it just doesn't fit what the author is trying to create.

Also, I made a joke about the MC being Danny Phantom and then
    So, that's something. pressure

I think author is too naive, due to plot mc looses eye sight, but it don't troubles him at all he still behaves like he still has eye sight. Man you know even walking becomes problem when you can't see. But mc still can walk at place he is no familiar, jump into canalisation and carry a girl in his hands. You
know blind people should be using a stick or special dog and they certainly not so agile even when they used to be blind.
Another big problem is the plot part about society.

this book would've been wayy better if the author took more time for the beginning and actually set things up leading to his parents death. Instead the some random person takes away the MC's fear and he just apparently starts thinking clearly before wanting to kill every ghost all of a sudden. I didn't really like it
