It's a great find, to be honest. I love the unique point of view about how vampires exist and how the novel kept the 'fear of the sun's part of vampires. It's a very interesting novel, and I'm waiting for those extras!

Idk why it has so high rating, probably because everyone who read it hesitated to leave rating or everyone just skipped it after reading first couple chapters. But I'll tell something I don't like about this novel.
1st: MC- (s)he is a hypocrite.
I will not cheat but I'll add myself some scanning thing, sun resistance, etc. But that's all, I don't want to cheat.
I don't want to seduce everyone with my appearance but if everyone loves me why don't I do exactly that.
That girl that died so I will just cry myself every time I get the chance but will not do anything about it.
2nd are fillers, 2 chapter of woman taking bath, 3 chapters of her washing hair. Like stop already. 1st time is enough. We know MC takes bath and washes hair. Didn't read even a quarter so I will probably write more.

  It's just really iffy sometimes but it's not terrible .

  So basically iffy thing one that i still remember. She gets guilt tripped into having a baby, when she can literally create a new body for the person. Like no bullshit. The conversation literally goes.
  "yeah i could make a new body for you, it'd be like a million times easier, but i could also reincarnate you as a baby in my stomach."
  ".... ah . . . . sure you can make . . . the body."
  'OH MY GOD SHE TOTALLY DOESN'T WANT A NEW BODY, EVEN THOUGH NOT ONLY WOULD PUT MYSELF INTO UNWANTED DANGER BY BEING PREGNANT WHILE BEING HUNTED BUT I WOULD ALSO HURT THE PEOPLE AROUND ME.'
  
  Second iffy thing, she basically guilt trips other people into keeping rape babies. You heard me. The father is literally a bloodthirsty vampire that killed all their families, but nope. Even though she has a safe way to abort the kids no problem, she doensn't want to because, all the sudden since she's going to have a baby, everyone else has to too. In a world where hybrid children are hated. You want to put those women through more suffering.

    My first thought: looks like author is woman that has baby. Second part especially you can see in mothers viewpoint irl. Quite much of them after giving birth switched to "baby is best part of my life" when it's just primal instincts to carry descendants and they want "share" thier happiness with ignorance ppls. At least in my environment married ppls without babies has some social pressure, especially young womans that want some life without spending years on child.
    Ofc there are truly happy mothers but they not so aggressive in their happiness sharing.
